  1. We had one, even though I didn't want to. But my DH's parents couldn't make it to Hawaii (health problems), nor did any of his extended family. So the AHR was more for his parents than anyone else. So, we budgeted for it, and threw a little party for them. And they really enjoyed it, so I'm glad we ended up having it.
  2. Sorry for the late reply ladies, but I should have pictures soon. I didn't take any. But a family friend did (she wants to get into wedding photography so this was for her portfolio). She'd getting me the disc later this week. It ended up being a good night. I met a lot of new relatives, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'll get pictures up as soon as I get them!
  3. Here they are, in no particular order! Wedding pictures by stephku1 - Photobucket Enjoy!
  4. Everything looks great! I love the bobbleheads!

Hospital? Retail?
  6. I'm now a licensed pharmacist! WOO HOO!
  7. Congrats! Good luck planning!
  8. Our AHR is tomorrow night, and I'm more stressed out about it than I was for the wedding! Oh well! I'll take pictures and be sure to post and show them to you ladies. Wish me luck! I'll be meeting most of DH's extended family (akward!).
  9. I'm happy to see you were still able to have your wedding! For some reason, I thought you were delaying/calling it off! You look great!

The water was really calm, and you could see the reef. But it seemed kinda crowded when we went (it was 1pm though), so I don't how how private it would be. There was some great snorkeling there!
  11. Welcome Sarah! There are a lot of Maui brides on here recently; I'm sure you'll find tons of information!

    Congrats and welcome!
  14. We chose Kauai for the wedding/honeymoon because we're more laid back and wanted someplace quieter/less nightlife. I didn't find it hard to plan my wedding, but we only had 6 guests and we let everyone choose where they wanted to stay and for how long. If you have any specific questions, PM me.

I know you've posted it before, but I finally had to comment about it.
  16. Welcome Liz! I think there are quite a few Maui brides on here recently, so you should find plenty of information!
  17. DH knows my weight and I know his. He's a tall skinny thing, so I'm just glad that I weigh less than him! I didn't when we first met or started dating. But he doesn't care at all, as long as I stay curvy!
