  1. Don't stress, like they said take a deep breathe..don't feel compelled to have every detail like some of the brides here. Some knew what they wanted and were able to plan ahead of time, some didn't know and made a decision to either fit everything they wanted for their day.....make your wedding fit your personality and go with the flow...I would determine what you really want and start planning from there. Look at the threads most of the work (templates, ideas etc..) are already done for you. Set aside some time develop a time line and get them done. This is the time to start calling your friends over (maybe with food and drinks, but preferably after they're done helping you) and making a day out of some of the things you want to do. Good luck!
  2. I think the dress looks great...I agree I like it without the flower/charm as well...congrats!
  3. There's only 20 people attending so that's only 10 OOT bags in all for me...So I'll be toting mystuff in me and FH's luggage!
  4. I'm really enjoying the series...This is a great fix since True Blood is off. I had to catch the last episode on On Demand because I missed it..
  5. Now that I think about it, I've seen something like this on a video show where people were Caught in the Act. The bride and best man were making out and having sex in the back of the church right before the ceremony was to start. They didn't know that the church had installed cameras due to previous vandalism/break ins and caught the whole thing on camera. They later told the groom after seeing the video unfortunately after they were married....YIKES!
  6. Me and FH initially decided to elope and we asked a friend a piece to come as a witness...but when word got out that we were getting married a lot of our other friends and some family said they wanted to be apart of our celebration. So I started to plan for a small intimate wedding with 15-20 of our closest family and friends. However I have received some questions (mainly from my grandmothers) about why I'm having a wedding so far away and that more of the family would be able to attend if I had it a home. However having a wedding at home would cost 3 times as much especially when you consider how big my side of the family is....You have to just come to a point where you know that nothing else really matters but your happiness!
  7. I just purchased some jewelry today (Earrings, Necklace and Bracelet) on Etsy from echosofspring http://www.etsy.com/shop/echosofspring . I stuck with something simple! I would post pics but it was only one of each so it's no longer on her site...I will post once I receive it.
  8. OMG this is so true. After getting so overwhelmed with dresses that I thought I wanted and loved and actually trying some on; I went back to my original dress (which was a nicole miller) that I purchased on e-bay for $149. I have since stopped looking at dresses to save my sanity! Good luck everyone!
  9. I got my performance review and it was AWESOME! Not that I thought it would be bad but sometimes you never know!
  10. I couldn't laugh...all I could do was hold my mouth with my hands after reading the part about the envelopes...I'm so glad this is not true it made my stomach drop for the groom! Whew that's a major relief! How sad!
  11. Have you looked in the vendor section, there are tons of photogs there...some that are local and plenty that are willing to travel! If you do a search you will find all kinds of information, reviews, some base pricing etc. from the lovely ladies on BDW...!
  12. Parker Posey:: Blade Trinity
  13. Those are really cute...well one more thing to scratch off your "To Do List"
  14. I'll have to look (over the weekend)...I may if I haven't thrown it out yet! Have you looked on line on her website?
  15. When i first read the heading I was thinking it was some silly self test you could take...but OMG I burst out at work and my co-workers are like What's up....I had to show them...Now you know there's some SHI# in there if the flies are hoovering....You would think she would feel the vibrations or something!!!!

So I felt bad... even her boyfriend's aunt came thinking the same thing...FH said that her boyfriend told him he wouldn't marry her until he felt like she was worthy! Can you believe that. But of course he didn't tell me this until after we left his house. I won't dare say anything to my friend...
  17. Linds, you are so right...I have learned my lesson...but I just couldn't help being excited..although I should have kept my excitement to myself!
  18. Okay...FH tells me that I'm a spaz and that I always see the positive side of any situation even if there isn't one...Prime example we saw three older guys walking briskly in the park I made the comment "Oh how nice their walking together" FH shakes his head and says "No their working, not walking. WOW you are so optimistic it's scary." So to my real question...a friend of ours has been dating this guy (James) for about 3 years, he calls me and another friend to invite us over (the same night he called for a gathering that was starting in 3 hours) to his house to celebrate their 3rd year anniversary...So this is my thinking: 1. If it was just a get-together why didn't our girlfriend call 2. Who calls people over for a get-together at the last minute on a Friday night with only a few hours to attend 3. Who celebrates anniversaries with friends and family if you aren't married; I can see with each other. So I automatically got all excited, called all our friends (mistake #1) called FH (mistake #2) and got them all excited that it was going to be a proposal/engagement party (mistake #3). FH was not buying it and told me I was crazy for believing it as did some of our friends. So anyway I got all of our friends over to his house expecting an proposal and was let down royally...So FH and my other friends were mad at me for getting them all excited for nothing...Was I wrong to assume this...another note even James' sister came with her PJ's assuming there was going to be a proposal..but FH says she's just as crazy so she doesn't count!
  19. OMG..I'm so excited I feel like a kid at Christmas...(I'm such a nerd) but I can't wait till you post pics!
  20. I sent out my DIY STD magnets, they are so easy to make...but it depends on how many you have to make vs cost of making them yourself. We're only have 15-20 people so it was cost effective to make them myself...I ordered magnetic paper from Paper Source (comes 5 pieces to a pack letter size) and printed 2 to a page! Â But Vista Print is another great option.
  21. I'm going with concensus here and saying the 1st one...it screams "HERE I AM" and the ruffles put me in mind of the ocean!
