I'm about done with his whole family execpt his mom. He does have one brother that I don't mind but he isn't really around here much. I have a busy weekend to get through, so I will start worrying about it again on Wed. Not sure if I will be on much till wed either. I have to work tonight, then short shift and work days tomorrow. Right after work I have to get the kids and head into the city for the concert. If I get in there early enough, then I will go visit my friend that just had premature triplets. They are doing well but I would like to stop if I have time. Then Mon morning I have an appointment for my eye in the city, then have to come home for a bank appointment to sort out our accounts, then to work again. Then on Tues Hailey and I have Dr appointments before I have to go to work again! *YAWN* I still haven't really been sleeping either. Harty, isn't it getting late there?

Well, if he doesn't let me have the quad, then one of these days when he is having coffee, I might just go out there and drive my quad off the property and then we will load it up and take it. I would like to see him try and charge me with theft when it is mine, and if he isn't there, he can't prove that it is me driving the quad off the property even! As for talking to the cops, I did, but I'm not sure that he understood, because he said that it will have to be done between the lawyers, but it isn't Larry that is refusing to ive it to me, it is his Dad! I will get my stuff, it is just a matter of when, and if he is going to be like this (sticking his nose in our business now rather than when I have asked him to help me with Larry's drinking) then I am not making any effort in letting him see the kids. He is the type that would call me down in front of the kids too. He doesn't care!

So I called my FIL today to let him know that my Dad was going to pick up my quad tomorrow and he totally spazed on me. I wasn't being a bitch or anything, I just told I wanted to let him know that we were coming to get MY quad. He started saying that nothing was leaving until Larry was out of jail, when I told him that it was MY quad and I was taking it to get fixed, then he started shouting at me saying that NOTHING was leaving until Larry was out. So I informed him that if he was going to be like that, and not let me have MY things, then he would not be seeing his grandkids! He started yelling at me, and I just hung up! I am not playing nice to him if he is going to be a complete jackass too me!

Stacey - The remand center is like jail but it is where people go while they wait for their court appearances. Rather than having them sit in the cells under the RCMP detachment in the holding cells, they go to a maximum security remand center. Then if they are convicted and have to go to jail, they are transferred from the remand to the jail they will be staying in. I have heard that it is not a very nice place to be at all!!! MarieSam - All he did physically was bang my head against the wall, but if I would have tried to take the kids out of the apt that night, I know that it would have been a lot more than that. When he drinks, he gets into these rages and everything in life that isn't wonderful becomes my fault! He has this look of hate and evil in his eyes and there is no sign of the man I loved or married. As soon as he sobers up he is back to himself and starts apologizing for what was said and done, which usually he doesn't remember anything or only bits and parts. Then come the promises of never drinking again and blah, blah, blah!

He was a mess when I talked to him on Sat before the conditions were on. He was remorseful, then he was upset because I called the police, then he understood why I did, then crying because he knew he messed up and that he would probably face jail time. As for the charges, he said there were 6 charges on Sat, but I'm not completely sure on all of them. There is breach of probation, one count of assault(for banging my head into the wall) and then theres uttering threats (Not sure if this is the other 4 charges or if there were other charges laid for something else. Bail was set high at $3000 and no one that has that is willing to lose it if he messes up again, so he will be in there until his court date, unless someone finally splurges on him.

I'm not second guessing what I did, but I am still concerned for him. He isn't allowed to contact me, but hopefully I will get updates from people he can contact. I do still care for him, and I hope that this is his rock bottom, but that it doesn't have to be hell for 6 months. Especially if in the end he is only sentenced to like 3 months, but served 6! Ultimately this is his problem, he did it to himself, and he is the one that has to deal with it, but knowing where he is now and hearing what it is like from someone that was there, I do worry about him.

They are great to work with. I had Severine and would have paid more $ for everything that we got from them, including the service. I am glad to hear that you were happy with them too. Can't wait to see pics!

So I found out that after his court appearance here, he was transferred to the Remand in the city. He will be there until he gets a trial date, which because of the courts being back logged, he may not get until Oct!!! Don't get me wrong, I am not regretting calling in on him, and I know he needs help, but the remand is not a nice place to be. I am worried about him and I hope that he doesn't get more messed up in there. If they find out what he is in there for, he may have a very hard time from the other inmates and 6 months is a long time! No matter what he is the father of my kids, and I want him to get better, not worse!

I think that the harder days are still to come, but I will deal with them as they come, and I am sure that you will ll hear from me during those times. You are all so supportive, and I it is so calming knowing that people out there do care and aren't passing judgement! I thought this forum was great before, but I appreciate it even more now as people here are good or more than helping with wedding planning and the stress with it! Thank you!!!!!
