  1. It would be a good idea to have a place that everyone can go to find out the requirements to get married in the different countries. I was looking into the legal requirements for the Dominican but we ended up doing the legal ceremony here instead to save the $ and headache.

    Hello

Welcome to the forum Starlene! Enjoy planning your special day, and we look forward to hear about it.
  3. I can't help with the villa situation, but I am so happy that you found what you would love for your wedding venue. You are so right about the different things that work for different brides. There are many different options out there for wedding venues, and that is evidenced here on this site. Hope you get some great answers from the different places tomorrow!
  4. Congrats to you and Brian on your legal day! Hopefully your nerves will be eased a bit after today! Excited to see pics.
  5. Hope you will feel better after your legal day is over Yari!
  6. That is exciting. Can't wait to see pics once you get them!
  7. I can't believe it is your turn to get married now. Glad to see that the to do lists aren't looking to over whelming...besides the music. As each of you get married this month, it is one closer to us Nov brides being here. Good luck getting all the last minute stuff done and can't wait to see pics and hear how everything went!
  8. No problem. I asked about these too, and then I was guidd to the other thread as well. I just got mine a couple weeks ago from another BDW'er and I am soooo excited to use it and pass it on again.
  9. Thanks. This will be very helpful as I have been thinking about working on the map for our AHR lately.
  10. This is the reason that I just took upon myself to get it done. My Mom and I saw the shirts in the store and they were on sale, so we bought different sizes so we could return the ones we didn't need. As for the pants, they just went on sale this week but it ends today, so I got my MOH who lives in the city to go buy them for us. I told her the sizes and the colour and they are now done.
  11. We weren't going to do the legal ceremony before going down. After a few people had suggested doing the legal ceremony at home first and also joining BDW and seeing how many people do it, we also decided too. We are doing a vow renewal ceremony in the Dominican since we are already legally married which saves us $$, then we also don't have to do any of the paperwork before going down or after we get the marriage certificate back. We have been legally married for almost 2 months now but we don't really feel like it. We are looking forward to our wedding and that is the day we will be celebrating for our anniversaries. Our weding is when we will exchange our wedding rings, and share our vows in front of our loved ones.
  12. We really are getting down to the nitty gritty. I finally broke into the 1 month marker and now you are starting to get into the weeks. I just realized that by the time I hit the weeks in my ticker, some of you will be gone already! Wow!
  13. Welcome to the forum!
  14. They turned out great. I agree that you don't look pale or sick. If you hadn't said anything, I would have never guessed that you weren't feeling well.
  15. I think that I am going to start more of my test packing today. Today is going to be the carry on bags. My Mom was working lastnight and one of our co-workers that is coming was wondering about what all to pack. Mom asked her if her DH has swim trunks but he doesn't. Mom convinced her to buy him some swim trunks and a speedo. The swim trunks will be packed in her bag and the speedo in his. Mom is also giving him a thong to wear on the beach. This is sort of a initiation for any guys that travel somewhere tropical with my Mom. None of the guys that have ever got one has worn it on the beach, but they have all got one, even Larry!
  16. Good job Kelly! So yesterday I did my cardio workout, drank my H2O and ate good. Then I weighed the kids (Justin - 14 months - 30lbs & Hailey - 3 1/2 years - 32 lbs), then Larry jumped on the scale and so I followed suit to see how much it fluctuated since the morning. I lost another 2 lbs since the morning!!! WTH!! I had to recheck it, and sure enough. So then I decided to hop on the Wii and do stepping for 30 mins while I watched the news regarding the local scare. I can't wait for next week....as long as I can keep motivated.
  17. Yeah Tara!!! That is so exciting
  18. Those pics turned out awesome!!!! That shirt really stands out & those shoes are wild.
