Just throwing my 2pennith in try a basque underneath,dont go and buy one especially just try with something you all ready have.Im sure it would lift everything up and then ask your aunt to do the nipping and tucking.You are a very lucky bride xx

Mum is going to see her gp today to ask him the questions that she now has.Having spoken with her last night she thinks she wont be waiting 4 months.The treatment she has received is very shabby i just wish she had come home after all she has paid taxes here and would be of been done by now.Here nearest hospital is over an hour away but god youve got to be sick to stay there its very shabby as most people have private cover they dont stay there.She will get the hole closure done in Dublin which i understand is very clean and there cardiac dept is as good as anything we have in London.I spoke with a locum radiologist who worked with us and he said they have good results from heart and lung transplates so im confident she will get good care eventually The consultant said she must take all the medication she has been prescribed which she wasnt happy about.Thanks girls for all your kind words i just wish we didint have to go through all this i cant imagine life with out my mum even though shes a long way from us i speak with her everyday.

Im glad you have had a response now. When i went to the wedding department the girl told me the package price was coming down.im glad that this came through for you all.

oh girls ive just thought a few years ago she had gynae surgery and she was gone for hours the lady in the next bed said there was some panick.Later a nurse asked them to wait as the surgeon wanted to speak with them both.He told them that she had a heart condition which was not news to them.My mum had overheard a nurse saying i told you they dont read the patient bands properly.We wonder if she had a heart attack then.On a lighter note mums just told me she woke this morning with her face stuck to the pillow.she couldnt get the comb through her hair.Shed gone to sleep with a mouthful of mints.Thats my mum trying to make light but also unable to get over that she has 2 holes when all her life she only knew about the one.Imiss her so much and just wish she had come home here when it first become troublesome.The dr today asked if she could walk a mile and she was like no way.Then said well i could if i lived in New York she was able to walk miles there cos its flat.The dr also gave her another tablet and told her she musnt go out in the sun she needs to get a hat.She has just come back from Portugal where she got such a tan my dad told her she would need a new passport to get back into Ireland.I miss her so bad im not seeing her till the 1st august.Thanks girls for your kind words xxx your the bestxx

My mum was born with a whole in her heart that didnt get fixed when she was a child.The last couple of years it has been troublesome.She lives now in the west coast of ireland and im sure if she was in the uk she would of had surgery months ago.Today after nagging the hospital since her last op appointment in november when they told her she would need to spend a few days at the hospital (4 hrs away) to get some more tests done to see if they can do it by keyhole they have told her she needs to get 2 holes closed and a defibrilator fitted.Ive only managed to text her as shes not arrived home yet but it can be done by keyhole which is good news i guess We had no idea she had 2 holes!!! and ? the defibrilator. So girls is this normal? Ive just spoken with her and she is in a state of shock she does have the 2 holes and he asked if she had ever had a heart attack? no, had she ever been VERY sick umm no i thought maybe when her dr overdosed her on thyroxine !! but then she remembered she had been very ill once with the flu and he said well the heart pump is damaged and that damage is caused by a bad virus!!!! so well maybe the flu years ago.Hes added another tablet to the list and she must stay out of the sun.He isnt sure if he can do both holes at once and the defibrilator will /can be done more locally after the closing of the holes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.When she asked when all this would happen he said if we havnt called you in the next four months ring us back Im so far away and she needs it done.Thanks girls if your still reading i really needed to off load.If anyone out there has any info on heart surgery i would appreciate your 2 pennies worth thanks maria xx

oh thankyou girls at the moment its still drying so i dont have the pictures that we all love.With the skirt part i can choose anything fishtail,tulle etc this was the part i knew i would not find easy.So with a long way to go i have time at the moment im thinking tulle with some wire that gives volume and different shapes but i dunno i have time.I love a bargain and will post the piccs as soon as i can xx

Ok girls ill start at the beginning here i worked last nite with Paul at the local caberat club to earn money for our wedding.I get up late 10 ish and am reading the local paper and drinking tea when my eldest son comes in huffin and puffing cos the trains arnt running from our house to London as hes speaking i turn the page and see an advert for a wedding dress sale in the town in which ryan needs dropping.I quuickly shower with no time to do my hair drop him at the station and make my way to the fair. Once inside i quickly spot three basques hanging from the wall which no one else seems to be paying any attention to.I ask how much they are and the young girl tells me £250 BUT they retail for £2,500 each that there llana.Ihave heard of the nameand know they are incredibly expensive.Iask to try one on and then she gets me MY one.I feel a million dollors even though i am very much overweight(thyroid) at the mo. Now girls i know your asking but why is she selling them so cheap,well she has deceided not to stock them anymore because they are so expensive what with the current economic climate and they are grubby.!!!! I walk away as im unsure of how i can get it clean as its covered in swarskoi?sp crystals.I tried on another gown but find myself back at the stall She tells me she bought a LLana from the shop she now owns and paid £3,500 for just the top she appreciates that i could spot the quality and explained that all her dresses were washed at 30 degrees yesterday in the machine including a silk one !!!!She give me some advise and i make the purchase much to Pauls surprize when i ring him for his credit card details!!! Idrive home happy and teary and show my son who tells me mum theres no way you can wash that. I pack it away and take it to a good friend whos so houseproud id eat my dinner off of her bathroonm floor and ask her for help Within seconds weve decided its going in the bath ,warm water and some liquid persil and a toothbrush and she sets to work.Its now hanging on her line twinkling in the sun all i need is a new lace and 3 of the metal hooks you thread the lace through need replacing and its perfect.Ive left my friend capturing piccies off it and laughing that shes responsible for it whilst its drying and what would we do if next doors dog gets in and snatches it off the line.wed be picking the crystals from its teeth to replace !!! Her neigbour dosent have a dog so im quite safe.Off course ill post piccies when i have it back and now i can keep a look out for the skirt part which was the part i was most concerned about being that ive been married before and getting married in Hawaii on the beach.

Im so glad everything turned out perfectly for you both.The lanterns were a wonderful addition and you are right your flowers were very pretty.I loved all the different colour choices for the bridesmaids and of course your dress who was the designer? i bet you cant wait for the profesional photos x

im loving all of them my absolute favourite are the ones in the black basque and the shots of you in the peach french knickers.HES GUNNA LOVE UM
