Okay, having a emotional breakdown
roo66 replied to SgtPepperette's topic in Just venting or funnies
ummmm id be inclinded to go with the good wedding review.Did you ask her what she did about the marshland?I think i remember your post and piccs about the house it did look fab.Id chat with the guy to be sure that you do not pay any more and just ask that as there has been a misunderstanding BOTH ways could he waiver the extra time fee.I would just be a little concerned that he may pull the plug on you if you appear to be making waves ( JUST FROM HIS VIEW POINT) not mine and also if he finds you difficult, again from his misguided viewpoint he may hang around all day.Have you spoken to his wife she may of course be just like him but also could become an allie and be helpful.Of coure your other guests could arrive down there and want to stay.Im sure it will work out just fine. Sending you good vibes xx -
JM i read your lovvvvveeee story yesterday just before i was leaving for work and today i have time to comment.OHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOD.I welled up when you said you had had the best day of your life and its so cool to hear a mans side of how wonderful it is to finally be with your true love. They do say the best things come to those who wait and 12 years is way up there in the waiting game.Does Danielle know you are keeping us in the loop?Im so glad for you both she deceided to miss her flight. If the guy didnt know before he sure knows now that its for real.We have all had our hearts broken in the past and he will meet someone to fill the void. For now enjoy every moment we know you will and keep us up to date.WE NEED PHOTOS you really should know better !!!!! sending you positive love and new job vibes xxxxxxx

For those of you that have read my posts, we i mean i have constantly been toying with the decision we made to elope to Hawaii and hold a AHR on our return leaving our families at home.Just two weekends ago we took Pauls girls shopping and the excitement at them trying on party/wedding dresses for the AHR had me thinking i cant leave them at home. After reading posts on here that you guys had enjoyed your AHR but it had been a huge lot of work and you could of lived without it i got to thinking im doing this just so the girls can dress up as bridesmaids.Even though id given myself a hard time over it i knew cost would play a huge part.I couldnt justify leaving them here and then paying for a venue/band/food /invites for when we got home SOOOOOOOOOO last weekend i made my no going back decison!!!! Right now ive been making plans for our family wedding in GREECE sept 2010 right from the start i didnt want a big wedding ive done that!!! I have found a place in zante named the PELIGONI CLUB.(sorry i dont know how to post a link) It is perched on the cliff edge over looking the island of keferlonia and the ocean and offers watersports a place to eat a small spa and a pool.It serves villas that you can hire.We are going to hire Stouvega which sleeps 18 basically all our children (6) in total our 2 friends and our parents and my brother. We can get married at the club they did there first wedding in june and have our reception there too.I am so excited that i can now share my excitement with our children and my boys girlfriends. We had already booked a week in Zante in June so we can take some wedding stuff out with us,although i really am keeping it simple. The accomodation for a week is £3,000 and flights are about £200 each then to use the club is £50 each plus the watersports on top.OH and of course the wedding costs Im happy our children will get to see us married and to be honest it will very probably be our last holiday together as my eldest is 22 and chloe pauls youngest is 5 Paul and i have the rest of our lives to find Hawaii we will go there for sure maybe to retake our vows !!!!

roo66 replied to roo66's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
hahah girls i just knew you would say post piccies.I will take some tonite but i do think i will go with the silver. Thanks a million x Jo you are right about moonsoon they have very pretty little girls dresses and i love buying Pauls girls things from there.I tried the flipflops on and i am normally a five but need the medium which is size 4/5.Now chloe has tried the dresses on i can pick it up in the sale after christmas, again thanks girls x -
Ive found the prettiest flip flops for my wedding shoes from a company here in England now which colour do i go with. The top of my dress is covered,i mean covered in crystals it really is very twinkerly,i had always thought i would go with the silver ones, but do i have too?by that i mean would the silver look better. The stones are all clear crystals swarskoski? sp on both pairs my dress has the same crystals. It would be easier to match Pauls girls if i went for the gold as chloes dress has little gold sparkles on the chest area but i cant get the silver ones out of my head as they were what i thought i would have.I need to order them quickly as they are now only available on line. The company is the same as the dress we have found for chloe, monsoon, they have really pretty things.Take a look you may find some wedding outfits for all your little flower girls. Please help gold or silver crystal flipflops with the bodice of my dress covered in crystals.

Hi girls i need your help this weekend we did some girly shopping with paul following.Pauls daughter had had a birthday and wanted to spend her money.Whilst spending her b/day money we popped into moonsoon, they have wonderful party/wedding outfits for little girls.Chloe whos five had a wonderful time trying three dresses and i can now just pop in there after christmas and pick up a bargain. We moved onto TK maxx and Amy went off searhing for a dress she had seen earlier in the week whilst out with her friend. She found it and it is perfect its a morgan and co dress i didnt get the style number and we didnt buy it as it fitted perfectly now but as shes only 12 she will change shape.I guess what im asking is do any of you know where i can find these dresses. It was short ivory top with draping with a gold colour overlay and sequins she looked wonderful in it and i would love to find it in a bigger size for her to grow into. She looked pretty in it and not at all tarty hope you can help girls. Thanks in advance maria x

Wicker / Rattan Chargers- Has anyone seen good deals?
roo66 replied to amyh's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
girls how about buying and splitting the cost for both the weddings and reselling here afterwards -
Breath and stop stressing woman lol, its a perfect shape and colour with over a year to go you may change your colours and this colour looks fab with so many other colours, pink, orange, beige, red i think youve done well to get ths girls on board so early.Just take much more time with your own dress.I would suggest you spend some time by yourself trying on and picking what you like style wise before your enthusiastic girls have you wearing something your not keen on.I personally love the long bridesmaid dress not everyone has good legs and you are still open with hair accessories gold/silver/modern/traditional jewelry, and shoes i would keep the footwear real beachy.Well done for finding something that dosent tie you down at all

Has anyone here been to Ricks Cafe'??
roo66 replied to michelle6114's topic in Jamaica Accommodations & Site
Yep, ive been its a looooooonnnnnng way. However it was in 1994 so i would hope the road has improved since my trip.I loved it here my ex and i got married on this trip and it was a fantastic way to spend the end of our holiday.Infact i cried as the sun was setting,we were going home and i had had the trip of a lifetime, now though i wish id given him a shove into the sea hahaah,no honestly you need some one else to fill you in on the travel time but as a day trip i loved it the sun setting the cliff jumpers and a romantic meal perched on the cliff edge.x -
oh these are fab, part of the decision making for Hawaii was because of the flowers.I cannot imagine marrying in tropical climes and having flowers that i can purchase in the supermarket. The site is now bookmarked for future reference.Thankyou X

A quick up date i went to the dr on thursday and he thought the lump wasnt to much to worry about. He examined my neck and commented that he could feel my thyroid.I went into work yesterday and got one of the radiologists to do the examination that my gp had requested.Im a little bummed at his efforts to be honest and the report was very short no measurements of the nodes etc which i know the othe radiologist would of done. The nurse who acted as chaperone was like i wouldnt let him do my exm if he was the last person here.Iam on holiday fr the next week and wanted to get it done however i know ive made a faux pas. When i asked him what he lump was he said he didnt know? explain to me please fluid? lymph node? wtf.The report says somink like results are what you would expect with the patients history.ummm arse hole springs to mind.I think when i go back in to work ill ask the other consultant to bring the images up and eplain them to me.My dr also wanted to put my thyroxine up but was umming and arring,i have got my bloods done and offered to go back to the other gp at the practice who has been sorting me out once im back from mum and dads.I didnt mention my shoulder another time and place maybe.I do consider myself fortunate when i look at the sick people that pass through our department, but by nature i just want to be firing on all cylinders. Thanks for ALL yoyr kind words x im off to see my mum and dad in ireland for the week so will be MIA XX
