WOW is pretty much all I have to say about the Valentin we loved it and had an amazing time, if we did not have so many kids at our wedding this would have been the prefect place. Checkin was supper easy we got there at 12 and our room was not ready so we changed and hit the pool right away we had great service all the staff members say hola and have a nice day. We had a couple of drinks at the pool let me tell ya they are not watered down Around 4 we went up to checkin and they upgraded us to a room on the beach with a huge hot tub, however we had a 1st floor so you could not see the ocean but we did not care we hardly spent time in the room. The food and service was great. My fav places were the Japanese, Indonesian and French. The night life was not that great however we did meet a lot of new friends from all over and we had a blast we danced in the plaza and then went to the sports bar. My really only complaint about the resort was at night they shut off the lights in some of the bathrooms then once the plaza closes the shut off pretty much all the lights in the plaza, hallways and all the bathrooms while the sports bar is still open. The walk to the bathrooms and back to our room was pretty creepy so we always went together. One of our favorite parts about the resort was the guests we made so many new friends I have traveled a lot but I have to say this place everyone was down to earth which was great. The chapel I thought was really nice DH and I thought it was a perfect location for a wedding. If anyone has any questions just let me know. Good Luck Planning!

I would not panic yet, you still have a good amount of time. After we sent out our std our price also went but then about 2 months before the wedding it came down $300 so we were exactly where we wanted the price to be.

He is totally unprofessional I think he is actually an ass! How dare he ask those questions. Thanks for the warning no bride should have to deal with his crap.

We bought maracas when we got to mexico and brought our name cards with the guests name and table number we did assign tables, which I talked to our WC prior to going so we knew how many people per table and then we put all the maracas on one table with all the maracas.

I also think you should be fine in my passport photo I have dark brown hair now I am closer to a blond and I have used my passport twice without a problem.

They came out great I am sure others will be able to use it.

Yes I agree watch your belonging's on the beach, when we got married we were getting pictures done and someone stole our photographers tripod we were right there but I guess we had our backs to the tripod.

I had my ring custom made and it took 2 weeks I would shop around.

Same here my oldest friend all along said she was coming then at the end did not come it is upsetting but we still had a blast!
