Just got back from 1 hour of Pilates Reformer! Im hoping to get some cardio in tonight.

well, intimacy is a tough one... we are working on our sex life too. (He wants it more than I do... Im not a rabbit!) We read this article in People about having sex every day for a month... I just googled it and they have all kinds of info on it. Says it was the best thing for their marriage, etc. We started small, every day for 7 days. I have this theory (if you rule all other factors out) it is just mental. Like if you wait to have sex until you are married or in a serious relationship, then everyone around you has done it except you... so much pressure, been there and my sister is there right now. You kind of psych yourself out. So, if you take the psych out of the situation... you know you are going to have sex NO MATTER WHAT for the next 7 days, it takes some of the pressure off in order to focus on what comes after "so do you wanna do it?" Make sense? Best of luck, and don't just let it go! Keep working through it even though its tough!

I am sooooo excited for you! And for him. Lucky guy! I am looking into doing this, need to get to the gym a little longer though, so maybe end of october! So I googled "boudoir photographer in mn" and all I found was this one guy... yeah. check out his portfolio. you can SEE all of her COTTAGE CHEESE and it is borderline porno. OK, I have cellulite but I was hoping that they would airbrush the crap out of that so I can at least feel sexy. I am ok with myself, but I don't want my cellulite to be documented, you know what I mean?!. I don't know what to do. My only thought is to approach a regular photographer and ask if they will do boudoir photos, what do you think Here's that site: Steve Rouch Photography - Boudoir Portrait Gallery

We just picked the location, resort and wedding time/place. I'm waiting on my TA to send me STD's but other than the TA's website with our info, I wasn't planning on sending invitations. I know some of the older family members (who aren't attending!) would want one though.. Urgh! I'm in the process of looking for a good "beach" dress. Anyone know of a good place to look? What are you doing about favors for your guests? So many questions...so many details! Welcome! It will all come together quickly, dont worry! I know that Dessy has a collection of beach dresses: Wedding Dresses: The Dessy Group I am wearing a regular wedding dress, just made sure that it wasn't too heavy so I don't faint! You can wear whatever you want! Most bridal botique are carrying destination dresses now. There is a "show us your dress" thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t85 that has a bunch of dressses that us gals on the forum chose and they tell you who the designer is. If you find a designer you like you can Google it and use the Store Locator tool to see where you can find them in your area! Hope this helps. -

Thanks HIGHLY recommended!!!!! I was soooo frusterated with the AI WCs that I switched venues all together... but I really think hiring an outside WC that lives in the area (fluent in English is helpful if you don't speak Espanol like me) that can be your legs and voice. It is worth what you will spend in GOLD. Meaning a lot more enjoyable and much less stressful! MY WC is $1200. Well spent so far, Im not getting married for another 4 1/2 months but just the response time alone is worth it! Plus they can usually find deals and make sure everything is in place day of instead of that being your job!

He started a couple of times over the weekend and I just didn't talk to him. I think he's started figuring it out. I'm taking the "treat him like a kid" approach. Good work! They are like kids, are they not? My FH responds well to positive reinforcement! (use your imagination) I HATE the fact that I have to resort to this... but if it keeps the peace then so be it. Best of luck and stay strong girlfriend! You were an adorable bride by the way!

That Sucks! Every wednesday night I have girls golf night and it seems like every week one of us needs to vent... Communication is the biggest culprit. My guess is that your DH is communicating like his father- he saw that it worked for his dad that way, why not him?!. You need to squash that... but it usually works better when you have had a chance to vent, reflect and compose your feelings. Don't put up with it! Just teach him the effective way to communicate with you and remember it will be a work in progress. Until then, use your friends and your BDW family to VENT! It helps, trust me.

Where is everyone registering?
kate.com replied to *Casey*'s topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I am having a tough time too. We don't need a ton of stuff... and I am afraid the thing that I wouldn't buy for myself, no one else will want to either! So I guess Target and maybe Pottery Barn. So tough when you have family in a small town without options! -
My I PLEASE join this thread?!. I need a little motivation too! I have the gym membership and am pretty faithful to tuedays Pilates class. That's where it ends. I think now that fall is here I will do more. I do take the dogs for a walk, but they end up sniffin around so much it is hardly a workout, more like fresh air! And I golf once or twice a week... but drink beer so i think the exercise and beer pretty much cancel eachother out!

I like #2 if you want a classy monogram for programs etc... if you want 2 then you can use one of the starfish for a more casual vibe.

When you ask someone to participate in your ceremony.....
kate.com replied to S2BLennon's topic in Just venting or funnies
yeah, we had a little unexpected family drama too... no fun for sure! It did blow over. Best to let it go and focus on you and your future hubby! Even though it is reaaalllly annoying and you have every right to be upset. THIS IS THE TIME FOR YOU AND YOUR FUTURE MR. TO BE TOTALLY IN LOVE AND HAPPY! Don't let anyone spoil it for you!!!!! And try to let it go for your own sake (not hers.) If she's not losing any sleep over it, why should you?!. -
I dressed up like a bride 3 years in a row from ago 6-9! My mom made me a white dress with little pink flowers sewn on, and a veil!! When I was 9-10 I drew a picture of my wedding. I wanted to get married on Christmas eve after midnight mass... everyone leaves except our families and the choir of course! After the ceremony we went to bed, won't want to miss Santa Clause of course, then wake up, do presents and have a huge breakfast feast! I still LOVE breakfast! And Christmas! Wasn't a bad dream to have! Too bad our families are so spread out! And I have no choir connections, ha!

I'm just not sure it's worth the difference in price....I mean Gabriel's pics are nice too... HELP!! Any tips from people who've worked with these guys? I like to save money as much as the next girl... especially when the whole thing is coming out of my pocketbook, but the photogs have a point! Other than your memories this is what you will take away from your wedding!!! Nobody will notice if you chose a small rose bouqet over orchids, or chicken over the filet- the pictures are your present to yourself! I spent ALOT (IMO) on photography, and it is the thing that I am looking forward to most other than marrying my best friend. I know that she will capture all of the little details that I dreamed up but probably won't have time to appriciate:-) That said, if you are stressed about money overall, and saving money here would lower your stress level... well, that is a valid point too! I didn't help much, did I?!. Sorry!

Yeah, the men don't quite understand the "planning ahead" concept. I asked Bill a couple of weeks ago whether or not we should take any pre-marital counceling... he said, what for? Let's have a counceling session right now, and every Sunday night. It was actually really cute- and during the discussion we talked about the top 3 things we want to work on in our relationship- making plans was on that list. We are working on that. So we are going to pick a day this week to work on wedding stuff. Even for a couple of hours so I don't lose my mind:-) We need to register, pick out GM attire (we did try once and failed) and pick out his suit, pick our menus and eventually book our honeymoon to BC. PS I LOVE you girls, you are my sanity when I feel like I am falling way behind!
