Awesome! Great Work! This month is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and I will be leading several support groups, PSA screenings and men's health fairs accross the state of MN. They are jealous of all of the hype for Breast Cancer Awareness and they want the same for PCa. What women can do when we set our mind to something! I'm trying to bring a little of our energy to the other side!!!!

So jealous that you LIKE it. OK. I'll try it again. But if I trip Im done!!!!!!!

The only problem we are having now is deciding on where to go. All these places have so many beautiful resorts. All advice would be greatly appreciated. Hi Elise, Welcome! Deside what your priorities are and go from there. Examples: 1. free wedding 2. couples only 3. lots to do 4. turquoise water, mountains, snorkel, etc 5. cheap, direct airfair 6. somewhere you wouldn't go otherwise It is tough to pick when the sky is your limit, but if you start narrowing your search it will come to you! Good luck and congrats on your engagement!

Lots of options, this is the toughest place! Maybe start browsing the "wedding reviews" and pictures... see if any of the places match what you are thinking... then lurk around some of the threads and ask questions! Another thing that helped me was to talk to a TA... I wanted a direct and reasonable flight so that narrowed it down, then I decided that I wanted the sunset so that put me on the Pacific side... and then I wanted to get married on a deck overlooking the ocean... narrower. I kept doing this until I came up with my perfect destination! Hope it helps (a little)!! It gets easier!

I am hungry now! I think Sushi is better than some of the alternatives. Everything in moderation (except the BDW forum) right girls?

Hi! I am having a mariachi band play. Their 15 minute break is during the ceremony part. My WC highly recommended the mariachi for a powerful entrance and exit... then they will play while we take some of our pictures- I want to get my pic taken with them in their outfits too:-) It is nice because you don't need any equipment, they are portable:-), it is unexpected so a "wow" factor and my FAV part is I don't have to worry about picking out songs or the right one playing. If you don't want mariachi they have several duets and trios like spanish guitars, Cuban trio, etc. Good luck!

I see an RSVP nightmare in my future...
kate.com replied to Celina's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
what is it with people not RSVPing... it's a free stamp for craps sake, stick it in the mail. I'd call so you can stop thinking about it, obviously they are not losing sleep over it, why should you! -
OK girls I did it! I booked my boudoir for the end of October! Need some time to do a couple sit ups and side bends!! There is this really great photographer in my neighborhood, she mostly does kids but her pics are beautiful! SO I stopped in and asked her if she would consider shooting boudoir and she said that she LOVES to shoot boudoir photos, it is her favorite... she just doesn't put the pics up on her site because it is personal, I agree. I was so nervous asking, don't know why but glad I did! If you need me you can reach me in the work out motivational chat rooms on the forum, LOL. Here is her site: Annie Marie Photography | Excelsior, MN (PS changed my name from soontobeamrs if you couldn't tell!)

Here is the thing. i didnt want albums, edits... anything like that. I wanted disks with as many pics as possible to do what i wanted with. So thats what we agreed on. Keep in mind if you do this... not every pic is going to be good. He gave me 1000 pics... and I had PLENTY of amazing pics to make albums with. He was a PLEASURE to work with... was very creative.... BUT i suggest going to the shoot with some ideas of your own too! I will post video as soon as I get it! Shutterfly | View share Wow! Way to bargin shop.... that was a steal for the beautiful pictures you got. How could he go wrong with you (drop dead gorgeous) as a subject?!. -
All the suspense! If you are excited go for it!! Just make sure it is what YOU really want so you don't say "I wish I.." for the rest of your life. I admire anyone who goes this route, what a thrill!

I am not doing it, but I am planning to do the boudoir thing. Logically, I would say chose your photographer and work with them to chose the timing. Obviously there are several timing factors so I would ask them... that way you will have what you need in time for the big day!!! Good luck and can't wait to see some kick a** pictures!

PV Vendor reviews from our wedding 6/2008
kate.com replied to sac22999's topic in Puerto Vallarta Wedding Vendors
PS Girls I hired the videogrpaher! He is very nice, has a US number so you can ask questions, gives references and examples of his work and is reasonable! Promovision Wedding Service Info ask for Ray. He lurks on the forum but it is not his thing! -
good idea! Sometimes you might just go in with the "lets get it over with" attitude and come out actually having a good time! Oh and um, adult beverages might help loosen you both up! I am not a big drinker, but sometimes half a glass of wine does the trick. PS... You are beautiful, that's not the problem so check it off the list!
