  1. I am definately NOT a good photographer and don't have a fancy camera, so I went outside and it turned out pretty well. The other way it worked out is under a reccessed light and no flash... that might have been luck! Thanks for the tips!
  2. So I have been looking for shoes forever! But I think I am going to stick to a pair I already own bc I am afraid I might kill myself in heels! They are Kenneth Cole wedge thongs with pearlize shells and beads on them. The wedge is pearlized white.

Plus, I dont want to spend so much money on a freakin veil!!! LOL I am still debating too. I found this site: WeddingVeil.com Veil Options/Styles - edgings, accents, widths, colors and the veils are very reasonable. They are out of CA. I sent them a picture of my dress, then Susan (the lady at the store) had me call her and gave me suggestions to look at. Very nice and professional. A good option if you don't want to spend a lot!

Both excellent choices!

It's a great song too. hahahahaha! That would totally be us! We are dancing to "When you love someone" the acustic version by Bryan Adams. It is perfect and am soooooo excited! Im leaning towards "My Girl" for the father daughter dance!
  6. How fun! They are going to be so cute and original! We are hoping to do that with our photographer as well in Puerto Vallarta!
  7. You girls have good taste! The dresses are super cute!
  8. Well, since your grandparents aren't going to be at the DW that would work out pretty well! I think you need witnesses anyway, right? I am trying to figure this out too. My grandma can't make it to our DW and it would be neat to have her there, but she is out of town so that won't work too well. Not sure what to do!

  10. where are you going on your honeymoon becks? Your stuff is awesome, I already told you that but it is!

If I find one I'll send it over... she is a news anchor in OKC now! Again 4 miles vs. under 1 mile... good job!

  13. I am at PF like Kate. It does make you almost swallow your gum, doesn't it? I have the same ideal as you... now if I can afford it.........
  14. OK girls! Time to get back on track. Did yoga and the stair climber yesterday! That stair climber is a beast! Hope to get some more cardio in today... and pilates tomorrow!

It was full of games with sexual innuendo, WINE, hot tubs and people being thrown in the pool! Our invites went out in July and we now have 19 people booked with a few stragglers left. We are getting ready to move so we're holding back on ordering our favors (embroidered beach towels!). For our guest book, we are going to have everyone save their boarding pass from the plane trip and we will put it together in a scrapbook. My bridesmaid dresses should be coming in October...and hopefully my dress too! Cheers to all the January brides for getting the bulk of the job done! Here's to 3 1/2 months till the white sand beaches! Good for you! Did you get anything good? Did you post your dresses on here? Can't remember... excited to see them! Good idea for the guestbook!

  17. how's the planning coming so far When you fingure out things in PV, be sure to add it to the PV and surrounding areas thread! We have to beef it up like the Cancun brides! We can help eachother!
  18. best of luck to you!!! hope all will mellow out soon. Until then, do this:
  19. Alyssa! Thanks for replying... very nice, I like the site too. My sister is going to design my monogram, she is a graphic designer, and a procrastinator! But luv her. Let me know if you want to see the parasols.... since I am going to be a "B" too... otherwise the ones on this site are pretty reasonable as well. Hope you are doing well and getting settled back into life. I bet you can't wait to get the rest of your pictures.... I know I am excited to see them and I barely know you! You are a stunning bride and your photos are fabulous so far... I know I said that, but they are! Have a great day~

I really don't think it would have mattered for me since I booked the hotel in April 2008 for a wedding in Oct 2009 and flights still aren't available to look at for Oct 2009. Thanks. I don't think you can book both together. Your guests need to book their rooms through the playa fiesta website! I believe that is the only way to do it, that is what Adam told me.
