My photographer said that she would send me a checklist 4 weeks before... so the week after Christmas I was planning on tackling that one. I have been saving some pics though. If I get them organized I'll post them here. It is freezing here! Can't wait to be in Mexico~

Hi there. I would definately get all of the facts BEFORE you make any changes. I don't want to be debbie downer, I know what it's like to not be getting what you wanted, then find it in the middle of the process! Been there done that. But, even though it doesn't seem like that much of a difference, it is. Financially, and with your guests. We chose a place in April and changed it in June (Our wedding is in January) before anyone booked and all hell broke loose... and it was not people we expected it from, family, and things are still not the same. I just don't want you to deal with it- especially this close to your wedding, you do not need that stress. Your wedding day will be here so fast! Sorry to lay it out there. So here is my question... what do you like about the ceremony set up that is different/ what you had invisioned? Has the Adventura Spa been difficult to work with? If you are willing to spend extra money to get what you want... you could hire an outside wedding planner for a lot less to help you get the set up on the beach that you want... or there are several private beaches in the RM that you could have your ceremony at that are gorgeous.

Well, I think it should be a compromise. It is very nice of you to cosider his feelings, and the fact that he wants this wedding to be different. And it WILL be different, this time it is with you. But, the fact is, this is your wedding too... and your first wedding. So, if it is something you really want don't be afraid to put your foot down! On a side note, he might just be pulling your chain. My FI keeps saying he is going to sing at our wedding- I know that's not happening so I let him joke about it! If he does decide to sing, well, it will be unique that's for sure! The key is to be thoughtful in how you approach it. Which it sounds like you are!

So, I think it has a little to do with the fact that all of the bridal mags have these beautiful dresses that we still see after we pick our dress. After I ordered mine I had many second thoughts bc i felt like I may have gotten talked into it. I saw all of these amazing dresses in the bridal mags and was regretting my choice. After I got it in the mail I fell in love with it again. I am doing my first fitting on Friday- so we'll see... but I can see how you wouldn't be excited at that point... hair in a pony, less made up, etc. But when the day comes I think you will love the whole package too! Hope that helps. PS... I LOVE your dress:-)

Amarillis, that stinks! So what is the ETA? What are they saying about the dresses to you? This happened to my best friend too. We ended up getting our money back and ordering something different. Hopefully you won't have to do that, but they need to give you a delivery date, or tell them that they will loose your business. Good news about the other stuff you have completed! Nicole, we are all doing Christmas Lite too. They are saying it is economic but I still feel guilty, but I shouldn't! Fun that you have a snowman! You should take a picture by it so you can always remember this Christmas! I just got off the phone with the seamstress, and I am going for my first fitting on Friday when I get home. Yay!
