Thanks! I am now legally Mrs. Birrenkott! I will post a couple of pictures soon. It was fun, and we went out to a nice lunch at the Guthrie theatre and got a backstage tour bc my friend that was our witness works there. It is really neat!

I say give it some time too. I had a friend that bought her dress offline and everything went smoothly. I have an extra wedding dress that I would pretty much give away, taking up room. I am sure it is legit that the seller would lower her price to get it out of the way. Keep us posted.

It is getting very real! I'd like to start packing, but need to clean first. And not sure where to leave my pile out of the way where it won't drive me nuts!

wow. weddings sure bring out the worst in some people, huh? And people/family that you don't expect it from too... I went through that too. It sucks, no way around it. Only advice I have for you is to continue to communicate with your FI. This is about you two in the end... even if the circumstances has you focusing else where. Im positive that you will have a beautiful day!

ToBeMitchell: Holy crap! MIL hasn't booked her trip and your leaving in 3 weeks? Now that is rude. I am sorry. So I caught up on all the posts. I am happy to have someone that is in the same boat as I am! Good news: No more travel for work until Jan 5th! Then, only 2 more weeks of travel before the wedding! Wow, time flies. My veil came in, I am wearing it around the house! And my dress was altered and looks great! I don't even need spanx which will be nice for the heat. JUST IN: All attendant and parents gifts are bought and will be wrapped in a few minutes. We are giving them their gifts at Christmas so I don't have to carry them! FI has his belt and shoes. He just needs to run in and have his suit altered (it's already there) and pick up a shirt and he is ready to go. I need to pick up my TTD and go with girls to pick up BM dresses from the tailor. I need to write content for menus, programs, placecards and get them to the girls who are making them for me- I delegated! Work on ceremony, this is a biggie Organize my OOT bag items. Shop for a swim suit and that is it! I think. Probably not but it sounds good. Merry Christmas!

I just don't have time. Seriously. I also met with our pastor at home and got info for the ceremony. So now all I have left is: 1. 2nd dress fitting and buy my spanx! 2. Bill's suit needs to get altered and he needs a shirt, shoes, belt. (I found his tie for $13!) 3. Decide on ceremony content (may need to get sand ceremony set) 4. Legal Day? 5. Gifts for the moms... Dads are covered. 6. Embroider OOT bags 7. Thank Yous 8. Hair? 9. Picture must list 10. Ipod playlists 11. WELCOME brochure 12. thank yous 13. organize OOT bag contents That is it... for now anyways. I am sure it will grow, it always does!
