Hey girls! Tracy, we leave on Sunday, what about you? Can't wait! The list is dwindling. A few small beautify things to do, wrap up work, post planning thread... I am doing the pic thing too! I was also waiting for pics from Mishka Designs... she is making my menus, placecards and custom maracas but might just post them after the fact. Otherwise Bill's suit wasn't tailored right so they are fixing it and we'll pick it up today, pick up linens tomorrow, purchase a carryon bag and that's about it! Yay!

Don't stress... but I'm with Amy saying to email/mail out a non-pushy note that prices are down and it would be good to think about booking. When did you set your RSVP at? Just a warning, you wont get all of your RSVPs back... and things change a lot up until the month before. There is a website called Farecast.com that tells you when a good time to book is. It will send you email updates when fares go down which is nice, and a good one to pass along to guests. If you are getting married at a resort and you know you are staying there, Id start booking that for sure. They could fill up around that time. Plus they usually give preference to room blocks. But just don't do a room block if you have to guarantee those rooms! I did that and people backed out so I am paying for empty rooms!

Very cute! We were going to do the poloroid idea, but bad news! They stopped producing poloroids and poloroid paper!! So it costs an arm and a leg on ebay where people are selling it. My favorite idea would be to find a Vallarta coffee book table, but couldn't find one in the states. Have you seen any down there Mishka So my back up plan is to do post cards and mail them back to us so we get them when we get home... or just bring them home. Not sure. Since I am making a coffeetable book with my wedding photos, Im playing with the idea of scanning in the postcards and putting them into the book as background, or here and there.

Good News: It only takes 2 (Specifically YOU 2) to get married! That's what is important... the rest is just icing. Since you are so close, I'd focus on you 2 and let the rest go. You can celebrate with the others when you get back. PS... I had a lot back out too, even having to pay for 3 extra rooms that are vacant, but am over it!

Connie, you definately don't want to get your nails done in a place that is disgusting! It is supposed to be a treat or a luxury! It is -19 DEGREES here right now! Yuck.

Ok, one more opinion. I think it is clear that she has issues. If she show up in her dress, she's going to look like a schmuck. Period. Don't fuel the fire, KWIM? So worst case senario is that she shows up in the dress... I have a feeling that she won't hold a candle to you anyways... but introduce her to people and MENTION that this is her wedding dress to other guests. Drive the nail on the coffin. Might do the trick. I think it is sad, personally. If someone cannot get over themselves to be happy for you on the the most inportant day of your life...it is sad. So maybe replace that anger with pity. Obviously, she is not the calibur person that you are.

FI always teased that he was going to look, but never any follow through. Guys like to see us squirm. And he probably knows he cant, and its bugging him. Stand your ground! He isn't going to die so he needs to relax. And tell him it is YOU inside the dress, so it isn't that big of a suprise. Just say it will be me looking my best ever. Maybe offer to meet him before the ceremony to do pictures- I know my Fi really wanted that, before everyone else saw me too.

Connie, funny you posted your real name because I was wondering that yesterday! Nice work on the entertaining instead of moving. Sounds like a plan. Good luck tomorrow! It IS exciting... even if it isn't your real day. Bill and I had fun, and can't believe how official it is!!!

Here's an idea... why don't you just wait to chose a MOH until closer to the date. Whomever you feel closest to, or has helped you out the most will be your undisputed MOH. And if there is more than one, oh well... or none oh well. Just because his dad is his bestman doesn't mean that you can't have more or none. He can sit in the front row instead of standing up the whole time if it works out better... can still hold the rings and do everything that a BM does. So basically what Im telling you is that YOU make the rules. But since there is no obvious contenders right now, wait until the time is right. I think there are more brides out there that wished that they would have waited to chose their bridal party until later in the process. Only main problem is that you might not be able to order certain dresses, but if there is only one or 2 you can go to the store... and summer clothes are just coming out- jcrew has cute sundresses year round.
