  1. I like anything with the word 'Fabulous' in it! Here are some ideas you might be able to tweak to make your own. Good luck. PS, any more cute doggie pics for us? "Photographing the details(moments) that capture your heart." Let no memory go undocumented. Moving moments into memories. It's the little things that make a moment yours...
  2. I agree with the kid comments. How do they know your NOT trying. Not always easy for everyone.
  3. Betsy-where in Iowa are you at? may be getting relocated there. Morgan- I am getting the photography itch too! Don't know where to begin though. I've been traveling for work Mon-Friday and haven't had much time to think. Obsessed with wedding pics and how to get them in a book. And now planning for my AHR in June which is turning out to be a big to do. So over it. And one of my BFs got engaged so i'm shifiting my wedding energy her way!
  4. don't worry! everything will work out the way it is supposed too. You could take a plan B if it is w/i 3 day window. otherwise, be careful until next pack and don't worry! it won't help anything.
  5. OK, so my BF wedding was really interesting. She is amazing, just go with the flow. But, his family is crazy. One of the GM came to the rehersal but not the rehersal dinner becasue he claimed he didn't know about it and had plans... we got an invite in the mail with the rehersal and dinner info on it a month ahead of time. Then, he only came to the reception for like 30 min. I felt so bad for my BF and her husband... but I said it was prob better that way. And, the caterers started serving the food before we got there from pics... so when they were introduced people were eating and hardly acklowleged them. Like I said, good thing my BF is a saint and was totally in love and happy to be married, she was oblivious. I was pissed for her.

Obviously I don't get it.
  7. OOhhhh Morgan! And now you are a photog! That should be really good photog karma coming your way! Yay!
  8. Heather! Wow, so glad it is over for you. What a nightmare... and I know that you are being tactful and nice about everything. You are on to bigger and better... it is so worth it to feel comfortable and as stress free as possible on your wedding day. That is priceless.
  9. I hear you. Same prob. I think the below tabs sound good. Maybe add an inspiration tab, or possible DIY projects area.
  10. Hi, This was on Fox News last night as well. I think it is good to be smart and informed, not scared: FOXNews.com - ATF warns spring breakers against Mexico travel - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News U.S. State Department Issues Travel Alert for Mexico - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com The U.S. State Department has renewed a travel advisory warning Americans about an increase in violence along the U.S.-Mexico border. The alert does not recommend staying away from the country or any particular part of it, but advises American to stay away from prostitution and drug-dealing areas. It recommends visiting only legitimate business and tourist areas. The alert issued Friday says violent crime is particularly worrisome along the U.S.-Mexico border, where automatic weapons and grenades have been used in clashes between police and drug traffickers. More than 6,000 people were killed in drug violence in Mexico last year.

Im sure the other girls will chime in but the more info you post the better! I agree that a WC is well worth it. FYI Playa Fiesta has an awesome wedding coordinator, Lindsay that is originally from San Fran, they own the resort, and she gets back to you within an hour a lot of times. It was really stress free other than being my groups travel agent in the begining!
  12. Awesome Robin! So glad everything worked out:P She rocks, doesn't she? PS, did your girls wear Jim Hjelm too? One of each of our girls has the same dress:) Congrats! You were a stunning bride.
  13. Ok I have a good one. My DH cousin's wedding last summer was an 1 1/2 away in a town that had population some where around 72. The ceremony was nice... but the reception was at this old bar that had closed down and you got two tickets... and the beer cost 2 tickets... and they brought it in in a case. They had some liquor that was for the wedding party only. And some distant relative of the brides was stealing money out of the envelops til some kids saw him and told my hubby and his brother (they are tough guys, ha) Paper plates, plastic forks, a big roast and some slaw. Haha. But, I knew they didn't have much money so it was perfect. I was also laughing because my 2 sister in laws had never been that close to a cornfield before, and we had to get our pic taken by it, haha.
  14. Hey, even if you are Italian, you don't have to include them in the wedding. Seriously. Anything else they can tag along- that's the vacation part. But it is not weird not to invite them to the wedding part. It would be weird in Jersey, it is even weirder in Cancun.
  15. I think it could be side effects but take the test to ease your mind. it would be much better to know either way!
  16. I used mariachi and it was AWESOME! They played 45min- an hour with a 15 minute break in the middle for the ceremony. It was a highlight for sure. They played a song called 1000 Violins... but I dont know if that was their own creation or what bc we asked a couple mariachi bands in town to play it and they didn't know it? I'm sure they would know what to suggest. They didn't sing for the processional but did for the resessional and I thought it was neat. So fun!

  19. I know how upset you must be... but I am sure this post is tame in comparison to what really went down, and I can say you are better off. He is def. not being a friend. He is acting like a petulant child. He'll either figure it out or not. Either way, do you really want him down at your wedding drinking, doing drugs and screaming Brittany in front of your other family and friends?
  20. well that is really cool! I bet they will sell those for sure!
