  1. Well, as you can tell it is a personal choice. #1 definately has that wow factor whereas #2 is simple and elegant. I guess if you put #1 and you feel it then there's your answer!
  2. Just wanted to say that i totally understand. You have a right to be disappointed. I think all DW brides that invite a group of friends and family are disappointed by lack of support at one time or another. Let me just say that in the end it all works out. And the group that does come will be the group that's meant to be:)
  3. Sounds like you have a great start! If you are wanting July... check out weather. I know in Puerto Vallarta where I got married it is very hot and humid... but have heard Belize is nice that time of year. Not sure about Jamaica but check that out. Then check to see where the more reasonable places to fly are. All inclusive or not? You may be able to get a pretty good deal with a smaller group like yours! It is a lot to take in, so start by figuring out where youd like to go. Congrats!
  4. So tough! No, you shouldn't have to take care of him... but it stinks that it is your FI only fam/friend. SO, I guess I would support my man... and whatever he decides is best. If he is willing to take on a little debt to have him there, support his decision. It is small in the grand scheme of things. Good luck-
  5. I feel the same way. I am glad we had it... for everyone else. But our wedding was in Mexico and was fabulous! Nothing can touch that. PS... it is easy to get caught up and it ends up being a full blown reception. Save your money, keep it simple. Same effect. And I recommend wearing your dress again!
  6. Very cute! We splurged on the bag as well.... HUGE hit and it's fun to see them all still carrying them around:)
  7. hahaha... you are crazy in love my friend! Best of luck this week... be you! FX!

What an amazing photo!! seriously impressed by all the sexy BDW brides! Thanks! And if you ladies are worried about your man getting into it... if you find the right photographer not to worry! DH really had fun with it and he is not into pictures AT ALL. And it is terribly romantic:)
  9. I felt that way too.... but remember, that you are asking them to come- not telling them. All you have to do is understand if the can't make it, they can't make it! You are allowed to secretly bummed... but stay away from guilting others to come. Whoever does come, will be apart of a very special wedding! And also remember... it only takes TWO to marry! The rest is bonus:)
  10. Awesome review! I love your pictures:) Now you will be watching the slideshow over and over again! Congrats Kristin and Ryan!
  11. Dresses look different on every girl.... plus- it's all about how you pull it together so if you love your dress... stick with it!
  12. Hi girls. Yes, they were very flexible... I know that this was the most stressful part for me too. It all worked out though:) And remember- they will hardly ever be in their rooms bc the whole hotel is yours for the week:) So while I was doing my hair trial DH went around and started assigning rooms. I had over-ride power but he did a great job- and it was one less thing on my plate. I also had made a priority list... and possible groupings. Each room in the suite has a fridge, big bed and there are at least 2 baths in each suite. Keep that in mind. Hope that helps. Try not to worry- it'll be awesome, I promise:)

Not quite navy but not light blue either....(not sure if that makes sense) She floats between a street size 8 and 10. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!! My Mom is selling the dress that she wore for my wedding... in case you might be interested it is here: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t43758 It is a Davids size 12, unaltered... my mom is a street size 8-10 too. Very pretty and flattering.
