silly questions but will they take the chairs from the ceremony and set them up at the reception with no additional charge, or would we have to pay for the set up fee again? Also, just curious what ppl have done for centerpieces. I don't really want to pay $70 for the centerpieces from the resort and was thinking about brining some cylinder vases of different sizes and just put some rose petals and a floating candle in them but that's a lot to lug...any suggestions?

Thanks rachelannmartin! We finally got our confirmation yesterday...April 10th at 3:00 pm! I am looking for photographers in the area and one of them mentioned that the Dreams Tulum charges $500 for an outside photographer...I thought there was no charge for outside vendors.......

Does anyone know if you can do a sand ceremony there?

IT's been very hectic for us...originally we were going to get married at a private beach club and now that's changed beucase the pricing went up significalntly so now I am racing to get the paperworks into Natalia by the end of the day to guarantee our spot on the 10th!!!!!

Thanks for your help Blkatz. I am also wondering in the wedding guide it says that music and dancing is only allowed for private events or at the ballroom. What does this mean If I have my reception on the beach does that mean that we can't have music?? What about the other locations like the Dolphins Pool Terrace or the Patio Terrace. These last 2 would be my first choice since they are free...but I definitely need to have music!!!

Hello Ladies, I'm kind of a new member...almost a year ago I joined this group planning my destination wedding. When we looked at the costs we decided to got with an outside planner and get married further down the beach at a private beach club. It turns out now that the prices for 2009 have skyrocketed and we are hopefully back on board with Dreams Tulum. I have received an email from Natalia indicating that our date and time are available. Have you guys spoke with Natalia...just curious who she is? Anywho my one dilenma is a photographer....I don't really want to use the resort one...can anyone recommend a good photographer from the area that won't break the bank!! Thanks so much....I'm trying to get caught up on the new thread...Sunbride you've done and awesome job!!!

I emailed them almost two weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. When I sent my first email requesting a specific day and time I heard back within 2 business days....now it's been almost 2 weeks since I sent the second one. Well before we decided on the Dreams Tulum we were intouch with a fantastic lady who has her own destination wedding business with her cousin that lives in playa del carmen. Her pics were breathtaking, there is a facebook group called Barefoot Weddings or her website it barefootweddings.ca and everything she did was beautiful....exactly my style and exactly what we want. It was just a though.

For all you past, present and future brides of the Dreams Tulum does anyone know if outside wedding coordinators are permitted or do we have to use their wedidng coordinator? I appreciate the help!!!!!!
