  2. I did and its not there. If you didn't move it then I am sure it was my mistake and I clicked preview instead of post or something. I will go ahead and repost them or I guess actually post it for the first time LOL. Thanks Maura
  3. Yep found the english version with a little big of Google help. http://www.unesco.org/culture/natlaw...nts_engtof.pdf
  4. Thank you so much! I can't read Spanish but now that I know what its called I am sure I do more research on. Carla
  5. Hi, I started a thread in the DIY section yesterday where I posted my templates for everyone to use. Its not there today. If it got moved somewhere can you please tell me where? Thanks, Carla

  8. Hi all, I know that you can't take photos in your wedding clothes at the ruins but I don't think I have ever read what the actual rules are or where they come from. Does anyone know where to find this info? I would love to read the what you can and cannot photographer at the ruins. Thanks, Carla
  9. Hi all, I would like to place some kind of insulated travel mugs in the OOT bags so my guests will be able to have cold drinks on the beach. Which kind did you all buy? Thanks, Carla
  10. Welcome! I am a 2010 bride too! I think mine is last 2010 wedding. I have only seen one other bride who was December 2010, but hers was 10 days before mine.
  11. Yes if you plan on keeping the dress you don't want to get silk wet. How about going to davids bridal and picking up a simpler gown?
  12. I love my FMIL. Last year they moved to the other side of the country and I miss her terrible. She has been very involved in our planning. My FI put together a planning blog and I put together a web album of all the pictures/ideas I had to show her. (In my signature are links to all these things.) She is even planning on throwing me a shower which she is sooo excited about. Basically there are 5 people besides me and FI who are involved in my wedding planning; my mom, my sis, FSIL, FMIL and BF. We plan on having a few togethers with these people to assemble invites, STDs, programs, etc. All have felt very involved, no complaints yet. Hope that helps, Carla
  13. I did feel bad in the beginning but the more family members I talk to the only response I get is "woo hoo we get to the Riviera Maya for a week". These past couple years have been crazy for both sides of our family and everyone is looking for forward to spending a week together and relaxing. They keep asking if we will move the date up. LOL Carla
  14. That's where I found my Fan Ceremony Program template! I couldn't find the site again after I downloaded the template. Thanks for posting it!!

Thank you! I could not remember where I got the first picture from. What time of the year did you find them on sale at Michaels? Carla

I totally agree that you shouldn't be embarrassed! Your FI loves you just the way you are and so do all the ladies on here. Beauty comes in all size and not just size 0. I say give it another try with a dress in a bigger size. I think a positive dress shopping experience will help make this one not feel so bad. Carla

Take all the pain out of getting married in MX. That is so sweet about your 5th anniversary!! Chris wanted our date because it was 12-11-10 LOL

Palladium Addict Site Directory I second the Grand Palladium!! #1 on our list right now. Carla
  19. Where is the font you are looking to download? On dafont.com there is usually a box that says download. Once you download, it will ask you where you want to save it. Then you unzip it and (if you have a new version of windows) you right click on the .ttf file and select install. Does that help? Carla

Money problems is actually one of the top reasons for divorce so its a good thing you found out now. There is hope though! Long term I would sugguest you take over the finances and money management. My FMIL actually takes care of all their finances and gives my FFIL a certain amount each paycheck to spend on whatever he likes. If he decides to buy a big item he has to save the money he gets out of each paycheck. That way it never drains their savings and he can buy his toys. As far as postponing the wedding., I would agree that you should if you can not find a way to resolve his spending issues before your married. Its a 100% partnership and you both have to be on board with the game plan. My heart is just breaking for you. Please keep posting so we know how you are doing. *HUGS*, Carla
