  3. I did a seach on the Carlos V to see the price and I found this site! Anything amazing on here? Mexican Candy

  5. Need some help ladies. We would like to do a candy bar for the AHR. Would like to use candy authentic to Mexico. I tried to do a google search but got a lot of things like candy in the form of sombrero's (made in the USA of course). Any body have a favorite candy from MX that would be great in a candy bar? Looking for things that would be good for munching and that we can buy in large quantities. Thanks, Carla

Hi kerryjbrown, Are you talking about replacing a heading/top bar on a page or actually making the background behind the text a picture? One thing to remember about graphics and website is that the images you see have usually had things done to them so they load quicker. I am not sure exactly how to explain in simple term but it has a lot to do with resolution and scaling. You will need to edit those picture so they are loaded quickly when someone visits your site. Also a quick edit to the HTML of any page will allow you to display any pictures you want. The catch is that you need to know what to edit. Hope that helps, Carla
  8. I love your idea of different ones! Not sure if you are a do it yourself kind of person but we are actually going to be painting designs on white ones for ours. Maybe you could give everyone white ones and add different designs for your family? Carla
  9. We are doing the same thing. Vista print is probably the way you want to go if you don't have the time to do it in. Personally I love the boarding pass and passport STD's. Besides the standard when and where you should include information about payment schedules for the cruise and also explain a little for those who have not cruised. One of the big mistakes people make is thinking the dinning room and activities on board cost extra. It might be very helpful to your guests to understand basically what they pay for the cruise includes just about everything but drinks and shore excursions. Carla
  10. Hope this is the right place for this. I was wondering if anyone had done a mayan wedding ceremony? I would love to do a fusion of Mayan customs and a traditional ceremony. Has anyone ever done this? Thanks, Carla
  11. Here is a good start on a list from another forum member: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t23302 Also I felt really overwhelmed just trying to decide the general look and feel of the wedding plus all the details. So I started using my google account to store photos in their picasa web interface. You can create separate albums, add comments/notes for each picture and since it basically is a website you can just send people the link when you want to share. Plus you can see all the photos on one page. I what I did was create separate albums for each thing; cake, flowers, decor, invites, locations, ideas for photographer, etc. So while I am doing research online and I see a photo I like, I save it to the album and I add notes on color, how to create, website it came from, etc. Then after a couple days I go back and glance over everything. I seem to always come back to the same things so I copy those over to another album I called Final Selections. It had really helped me envision things plus I can then see if everything really goes together. Hope that helps... Carla
  12. What a great idea to help her feel included! I agree that you should give her the same thing you are giving the rest of the ladies.
  13. Thanks, awesome list! Now I just need to add the other 100 things I need to do to it.
  14. Right now we are thinking in a cenote or at xcaret if we can get permission.

  17. Just a DVD of the images in hi-res. All of the things you mentioned you can do online or at home at a decent price.
  18. Thank you so much! The only one I couldn't find any pics for from Del Sol is Azu-lik. Did you happen to take any while you were there? Carla
  19. Has anyone been or had a wedding here? I tried to search for it and got 0 results.
  20. No Problem. Actually I did some color fades and a couple techniques on it because I am using it it for part of my logo. If this isn't what you had in mind let me know and I can put something together for you. Carla BTW I had to change this to a png file because the types of files you can upload on here are restricted. The original is actually a gif and has the transparent background. I can email it to you in that format.

  22. When you shot there was it for a wedding that had taken place at xcaret? Or was this after a wedding from somewhere else? Quote: Originally Posted by PlayaWeddings I would call it "Bridal Elegance" instead of "Trash the Dress" if I was asking for permission Very good idea! Thanks
