  1. Is there a band in Cabo called Deja Vu? There's a band in the Chicagoland area called Deja Vu and they are awesome! They played at my sister's wedding and we're actually going to see them tomorrow night for my bachelorette party:) I'm assuming it's a different band but if for some reason it's the same they are great!
  2. You mentioned that the friend you've had for the longest is married, is the other friend married as well? If the other friend is not married you could have one as the Matron of Honor and one as the Maid of Honor and your cousin as one of the groomsmen. That way you are incorporating them all and not hurting anyone's feelings.

The cups stand up perfectly in a suitcase. So I packed mine that way. I think I only got about 22 cups in there though so I have to find places for the other ones. Then I filled the cups up with all the extra goodies I had and placed the OOT bags on top. It worked out pretty well and then I'll have an extra empty suitcase to put my dress in on the way home.
  4. Thanks ladies! Annie we'll definetely see you for drinks! We arrive on your wedding day so we'll help you celebrate at the disco:)
  5. Thanks everyone for the complements! I'm really excited to go pick it up next weekend.

I had gone to another bridal shop earlier that day and found another dress that I thought was the one but wanted to keep this appt. so we went and I tried on about 7 dresses and most of them I didn't even get all zipped up before I said I didn't like it. This was the last one I was going to try on and once it was on I knew it was THE ONE!!! I'm so happy with it and can't wait to wear it on the beach in 13 days:)
  8. I'm not 100% sure. I work out at least 5 times a week and have been doing so for years. I thought that maybe my birth control was not necessarily making me gain weight but was maybe interferring with me losing weight so I went off it for 3 months. I've also been trying to run a little more with my normal workouts. Other then that I didn't really change anything...I LOVE to eat so I certainly haven't really changed anything there and I am crazy about sweets and sugar and I haven't cut that out. I wish I could say for sure that it was the birth control pills but i don't know. I did start another brand about 3 weeks ago because I want to make sure I don't have my period while in Mexico but I'll probably stop them again when we get back not sure yet.
  9. it was too big!!! I dropped my dress off 2 months ago to get altered. It was too big and I also wanted the zip up back to be changed into a corset back. So today was supposed to be my final fitting and pick it up with 10 days before we leave. I put it on and the lady started lacing it up and I could tell that is just didn't seem to be very tight and then she said I think you lost some weight. I actually only lost about 2lbs but apparently more inches. I thought I might have lost something but not enough to make my dress too big! And the seamstress thought it was going to be too tight because of all the material she had already taken out...I guess not:) So now I'm going back next Saturday to pick it up. Only bad thing is it's the day after my bachelorette party and an hour drive away...O'well it's worth it to know that my workouts are finally paying off! So of course I wanted to make sure I showed you all a picture.
  10. I've been dealing with Patricia as my WC and she's been great. I dealt with Damarys early on and then I think it was Diana and now Patricia. Patricia has been the best, she's worked with me on a couple of small issues and gets back to me really quick.
  11. Oh this sounds great. I think we'd be interested just have to wait until after the wedding is over before we can work on another trip:)
  12. Patricia was actually able to work it out for us since our second choice was also booked. They are going to put us in the Fondue restaurant which shares the same building/kitchen as Las Olas but give us the Las Olas menu. So it's all working out.
  13. If the beachballs are still available I'm intersted in purchasing them. Shipping to zip code 53144. Thanks.

  15. Hitchedin09, when is your wedding date? I'm assuming sometime in Dec...we won't be back until Nov. 28th but I'll try to make sure I post a little review in here once we return.
  16. Amandseth and anyone getting married soon or been married there already, are you doing dinner at one of the ala cartes? Which one did you choose and what menu? FI and I decided on Las Olas and had the menu set perfectly and Patricia let me know today that the restaurant isn't available for the 6pm seating, we'd have to wait until the 9:30pm seating which is too late since we have my grandparents and stuff with us...So now we're back to square one trying to decide on a restaurant and the set menu for everyone. So I'm just trying to get an idea what anyone else had planned.
  17. We're bringing photographers to Mexico with us. They are actually part of the forum TammyB & Faber Photography, so I actually have two photographers and I am so excited they will be joining us. I met them in September and can't be happier with my decision.
  18. I have done the botox in my underarms. Botox temporarily parallyzes your sweat glands. I still experience sweating and didn't really see a significant improvement when I had it done. I actually did it twice with the same results. You also have to understand that like someone else said sweating is your body's way of detoxifying itself so even though your underarms might not sweat as much your body will find other ways to detox. So your hands/feet or other areas might start to sweat more. Also a note on insurance covering it, be careful you get this checked out before you have the treatment. Some insurances will cover it but you have to have a lot of background that you have tried other things and they didn't work and you'll have to fill out a lot more forms to document everything. Not all dr's offices will even deal with submitting this treatment to insurance because most don't get paid. I did get mine paid for by insurance but I have the benefit of having my sister work for a dermotologist.
  19. Great idea! I created our "Clothing Mandatory! Shoes Optional" sign using the yard sign. I just name in sand picture that Misty did for us as the background. FI has some family that only speak Spanish so I did another sign in Spanish as well and will post both signs in the sand by the ceremony so people can take their shoes off if they choose.
  20. Ugh, I'm such a procrastinator! I had off Wed-Fri last week and Thurs-Fri this week and still didn't do anything wedding related:) I just hung out and was lazy instead of getting stuff done. I guess I just work better under pressure with not much time left. O'well it'll all come together! 6 weeks from today, can't believe it's come by so fast!!! Good luck to everyone with all the things they still need to take care of.
  21. Tammy and Trish are amazing so if you are thinking about doing this definetely do it!!! They made me feel so comfortable and we had a great time together that you just relax and go with the flow. I was very hesitant and nervous before hand but now I'm so happy that I went through with it and had BD pics done with Tammy and Trish.
  22. We have a motorcycle too, he drives and I ride:) There is NO way I could drive my own bike. We ride every chance we get. A lot of my family members also ride so we usuaully meet up for breakfast on Sunday mornings and then go out and ride for the day.
