Even during the ceremony? I'm sure we wont want the whole song to play, just pieces, depending on what part of the ceremony it is. yikes! another thing to figure out...

After a mini meltdown (I didn’t think I was able to get pregnant - we are elated), LOL I am going to send my dress back, pay restocking fees and order 1 size up. my new dress will now be in around April 17th. The bridal salon (Bridal Suite in Port St Lucie, FL) was AMAZINGLY understanding and helpful, I couldn’t be happier! I guess now I need to join the momstobe thread!! I need to get back in the wedding swing soon!! jenn i'm soooo happy for you =) congrats !!!
  5. i got my dvd last week and i'm starting it tonight... so glad i found this post =) i have a couple of questions. are you guys doing it every day? any days off? and my fiance comes home late from work around 9 pm. i hate for him to have dinner alone so i wait for him... do you think having dinner at 9:30-10ish is super bad?

I would not worry about your concern for not wanting to dance in the middle of the resort...it was not a problem for the 35 of us! i did like the plaza option at first, but i'm concerned if the night is too windy it will be an issue, also their might be bugs if the humidity or rainy season was high... i guess it all comes down to luck... do you think it will still feel private even at 100% occupancy?
  7. congrats on your wedding andrea !!! and thank you so much for sharing your pictures. as far as the ocean being too rocky, do you think it's a good idea to have guests bring water shoes? do you think that will help?
  8. i was at a wedding last year and they had a photo booth... it was sooo much FUN!!! We didn't get any tickets, as a matter of fact people used the booth several times... not sure what the package included but if they charge you per picture taken i would definitely give out tickets or something... because honestly, people will go crazy taking pictures, especially as the night goes on.
  9. tangerine and marigold shades would look really nice oooor magenta's

No, not everything will be perfect but it sounds like things are getting better. Thank you to all the brides who have been posting information these past months. You have all been a great help to me. Wish me luck and I'll have a review posted as soon as possible! i hope your wedding is everything you've hoped for and more... good luck and have a blast

I'll keep you posted! looking forward to hearing their reaction....

Stay strong...we are all going through the same thing and are here for you I voiced my concern to my TA and this was her response: I did communicate with Karisma about concerns with issues that have popped up with the property and they are certainly on top of things with all plans of living up to the 5 star level of service they are known for. All will be fine when your guests arrive, no worries. They will love the resort and a wedding on the beach or sky lounge will be amazing, just that alone is so worth the trip. here are some pics from her trip the first week of December Kodakgallery.com: Slideshow

  18. now that i'm at the five month mark i really want to get down to planning all my little details... i've been looking into what to use for the guests to celebrate as we're walking down the aisle as the new mr. and mrs. these bubble pictures are cute, but could they stain my dress ?? rose petals or confetti ?? wonder if the resorts charge for clean up? all of the above seem to make for great pictures.... however, i came across these and i fell in love... how cute and if you put bells on them the guests can use them during the reception for kissing bells. let the planning begin what are you using for your send off?

  22. great question.... i'm not sure exactly what i'm going to do for the oot bags now.. it would be great if our guests could re-use it as a shopping bag. did all of you give the oot bags and a favor, or was the oot bag it?

  24. i hope the lighting isn't terribly expensive.... but i honestly think the meeting room is a great idea.. i'm so excited too!!!! btw, did you find out about linen choices and pricing?
  25. wow, this totally sounds like a plan.... we can have the sky top wedding, have the 2 hour cocktail hour outide on the terrace and then the reception in one of the meeting rooms, and party until 1 am!!! woohoo the right lighting and some props can totally transform those meeting rooms, lenka, do you think they can pull stuff like this off? i'm wondering what pricing would be :
