*Official chat thread for BIGGEST LOSER 3* (UPDATED WITH WINNER!!)

hang in there, phillybride ... it's VERY frustrating in the beginning! i eventually got my travel agent in touch with the wedding coordinator and she was able to get available dates for me ... but even that took the TA at least a week or so. then a few weeks later i finally got a response to the emails i had sent about 2 months prior! it gets better ...

i think i may have SOMEHOW gotten back on track after all the vacation & birthdays, because i'm down 4.1 lbs this week! yay! a new chick just bought the curves franchise that i go to ... so this new owner was there this morning kicking people's butts, correcting everyone's bad form, and pushing us (i don't know how many of you go to curves but it can start to get to the point where you're just barely going through the motions, if you let it). she showed us all her "before" picture from 10 months ago ... she lost her weight at curves and was inspired to buy a club of her own! seems like her presence there will be really motivating. yamille, it *totally* could be water weight ... don't fret! best part about gaining a little is that you get to have that "big loss" again, like most do the first week! -
need a pic or at the very least the size of the dress and a description so people know whether to bother looking. also, how much $$ are you selling it for?

if it doesn't fade much and you feel like you want a little blondness back, you could try just a few subtle face-framing highlights. i think it looks great as-is tho! oh and your guy is just too cute with his comment.

not to be a post whore, but ALSO ... we got our contract from claudia ... we requested a 4pm ceremony, which is noted on the contract, but then she has our cocktail hour listed as 7-8pm, and reception 8-11pm! why the 3 hour lag time between ceremony and cocktails? that's ridiculous! is that the only time they do receptions on the terrace or something?

somebody stop the neverending CAKE!!! haha this weekend we celebrated my sister's AND my mother's bdays (as well as mine and my fiance's AGAIN, since we hadn't seen my family since), and then today we celebrated a co-worker's bday here at work! HELP! AND we're going away the next two weekends ... which means more meals OUT, which is always difficult. to the gym i go! as always, thanks ladies for your support, and keep up the great work ... some of you are REALLY doing well! -
i am currently freaking out because our travel agent now says she cannot get more than 8 (EIGHT!!!) of the regular deluxe (i.e. cheapest) rooms at Dreams for our guests during our wedding week. our wedding isn't until may 28th of next year, and already everything is sold out!?! wtf? our guests can't exactly afford all sorts of upgrades just to be able to get a room! (and we are pissed off because we offered to put deposits down a few months ago in order to hold rooms and our TA said it wasn't necessary!) and don't get me started on airfare, which is currently almost $1000 PER PERSON from Philadelphia!!! Oh of course we could just have connecting flights to bring the price down, but the nonstop flight was one of the main reasons we chose cancun mexico to begin with! or we could fly from newark, nj or nyc and it's cheaper but our guests would have to travel 1 1/2 - 2 hours just to get to the airport (which is the reason we didn't chose tulum or even jamaica ... wanted to avoid long land transportation)! wtf? we are just screwed, and no one is going to be able to come to our wedding! *remind self to just breathe* /rant

LMAO! seriously, you definitely don't want to charge it all now unless you've got a 0% interest kinda deal.

when i was 10 my parents got rid of my dog, patches, and said they "sent her to live on a farm where she had plenty of room to run around and play ..." which i totally bought. flash-forward to COLLEGE ... a friend had to put her dog to sleep and said, "yep, we gotta send him to the farm" and it was like a LIGHTBULB WENT OFF over my head! i was so upset and called my mom that night to yell at her for "killing patches and lying to me about it" ... she was like, "you JUST NOW figured that out?" hahaha ok and this one wasn't me but my mom's best friend and her son: he had found his mother's maxi pads in the closet one day and inquired as to what they were. his mom quickly said, "put those back ... they are for when mommy has a headache!" a few months later she sees him lying in bed with one stuck to his forehead ... "but you said they were for headaches!" LMAO

place looks pretty cool ... anyone know how far it is from dreams cancun? like can we stumble there and back?
