anyone go to curves? ladies i'm so bummed. the curves i go to was always different from the others in that not only did it have the regular curves "circuit" but there were also ellipticals, bikes, treadmills, an ab lounge, and a gazelle in the back for our use. well the new owner was getting a lot of crap from the curves corporation about the additional workout equipment and she had to (at least temporarily) remove it all! something about not getting her franchise monies because they think the addition of other equipment is like saying the curves workout doesn't work. it really sucks. it's not like anyone who goes there to work out skips the curves circuit ... we all usually do it and then add to our workout. the stuff is all in storage for now ... i really hope it comes back. i hadn't had time lately to squeeze in the extras, but i do like to walk on the treadmill while i'm there, and i'm bummed about the ab lounge thing, because in my opinion none of the curves equipment really seems to work your abs at all.

I want to include her name in the program as well so I would like to give her a title but I don't know what to call her. She is too old to be a flower girl and too young for a Jr. Bridesmaids. Any suggestions? i say just call her a flower girl anyway. who made the rules as far as who is too old to be what anyway? is a 9 yr old not still a "girl"? it seems to me that for a destination wedding, all "rules" go out the window anyway. my flower girl will be 7, and my ringbearer 9 i think? and honestly, i feel like if anyone would sit there all gossippy and rude like, "omg, i can't believe her 'flower girl' is so OLD" then they've got problems, ya know? LOL. if she's not really handling flowers of course then maybe something different is in order, but other than that do what you want! maybe the spanish words for it are cool sounding? senorita de flores? (not sure if that's right LOL)

It's HERE!!

that dress is STUNNING ... i thought it was typically pretty until i saw the detail pics and was totally WOWed! gorgeous! and i would have never guessed you'd had children let alone QUADS. girl, you better learn to love those curves because you're definitely not fat in the least. curvy is way hotter than stick figure any day of the week! -

for all you brides who like "canon in D" i found a very cool celtic version of it: T Carter Music | Wedding Songs | New Wedding Music, This Ring and other original ceremony songs. Breathtaking classical music, Canon in D, Celtic Music i think it's so pretty ... worth a listen even if celtic's not your thing. flute and strings and just beautiful.

(hopefully you won't need it) ... but don't worry, once your date and place are picked the rest really does come easily!

so between the DH getting the full time work and now you're able to get the transition pay you're entitled to, it sounds as tho your dark cloud had a silver lining ... the best is yet to come, when you find the job that's better than the one you lost! best of luck!

anyone here use fitday.com to log their food? i just signed up and it seems like it will be pretty useful (best of all, it's free). i keep getting nagged to write down everything i eat and keep track of calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, etc. and i haven't been doing it because it's such a pain. i think fitday will really help with this! one weird thing tho is it appears i haven't been eating enough! i would have never thought that in a million years (my calories were down around 1200 the last few days, unless i forgot to add in something i snacked on?). so this morning i made sure i ate a *real* breakfast (one egg with feta cheese and a few links of lowfat turkey sausage) instead of a kashi go lean crunchy bar (which i'm addicted to).

Wedding Gowns - You VS Model

haha i was mostly kidding about the dollar when you gain weight as extra incentive! anyway, while a fun idea, i think it might be too hard to enforce, as some people just quit when they start doing badly, and others just don't send in their weight. i'm with morgan, if the ladies want to try that for BL5 that's great, but we probably shouldn't change rules mid-contest in the interest of fairness.

i would personally pick something i knew i looked good in, that flattered my body. if you are in any way uncomfortable with how you look that day, it could show in the photos. just make sure his level of formality matches yours, and wear something that is typical of what you guys normally would wear. pick a couple options, set your camera timer, take some pics, and post a poll! BDW brides love to tell people what they should wear, LOL!

i don't know how to feel about that ... my evil side wants to LMAO, but i would be so pissed off if it happened to me! not that i wouldn't find the humor in it eventually, but think of all the money spent on photography, video, the dress ... -

Since last Aug I lost 22lbs but for the past 2 months I would just loose a little then gain it back I guess loosing inches is better then weight. So I say if the scale is not moving and you are working hard find something in your closet or buy something and use that as your goal instead. great advice, and congrats! i know how happy it made me to fit into pants i couldn't wear for awhile ... getting into a smaller size is so rewarding! oh and i LMAO at "100 squats after I first put them on" ... that visual is priceless!

Instead of going to the all you can eat breakfast buffet, i had cereal in the morning. I only had 3 beers the whole weekend. that is quite an accomplishment when there is free alcohol each night. I also skipped going out to eat dinner on the first night & bought a tv dinner at the grocery store. haivng a fridge & microwave in the room really made it easier. typically we eat out every meal except for the night we have a big banquet. I made it through the weekend without gaining a pound. unfortunately I wasn't able to lose anything. I planned to go for a walk during the free time, but it was rainy all weekend. now I'm back in town & back on track. way to go morgan! goes to show that where there's will there's a way ... it IS possible to put limits on oneself and stick to them! and knowing yourself is important ... for instance knowing you'd overeat at a breakfast buffet, you simply avoided it and gave yourself a healthy option. good work! i'm down again (2.2 this week) and down 15 lbs from the start of BL3 (9.5 in BL4)! i'm happy to report the loss, but have to confess my gym attendance was less than stellar since i've been sick. i really have to get in there, because not only does my body need it, but it's ridiculous to spend the money on it and not go when you're trying to save for a wedding!
