sylvia, that's a lot of dresses! wow! i keep thinking i need all these cute outfits/sundresses for the trip but honestly i will probably be in a swimsuit half the time too. i need to do some serious shopping this week! i need shoes, and time flitted away somehow and now there's not enough time to buy the swimsuit i was going to buy online. crap. i should be more concerned with the fact that i don't have ring bearer's shirt yet, nor anything for him to carry the rings in, don't have flower girl's basket or hair flowers done, don't have anything for the sand ceremony, have no bridesmaid's jewelry or gifts, don't have my own jewelry ... AND of course never heard back from claudia so i don't know what the heck our vows are for legal ceremony or the order of the ceremony so i can make a program. can't make menus either because she never sent me buffet info. it's so frustrating, but honestly i've just about run out of time anyway so maybe it's better this way and less is more?

i am so terrified that i too will have hurricane force winds on my day, lol! i had been very anti-veil but i really feel so much more like a bride with one on. i didn't want to spend big bucks on one, in case i didn't end up able to wear it. my sister is making one for me now, so i hope i can wear it at least for a few pics (that's my photographer in this thread saying we should wear them, lol!). i really want to wear my hair half up, half down too. i've seen some girls get away with it beautifully, but i'm afraid i won't luck out like that. i guess i should find an updo i like just in case, huh?

ugh i had so many people who STILL to this day haven't sent their RSVPs (date was march 28th!)!!! even after i complained about it, most said, "well i figured you knew i wasn't coming ..." WTF?!?!?!?!

you photographers are amazing for doing this. it's such a testament to the strong, helpful community that has been fostered here on this forum. i *almost* wish mine was being moved so i could take advantage of the great deals offered here, LOL (ok not really!). for some devastated bride i'm sure this thread will be like a dream come true.

people who don't struggle with weight issues always think the solution is simple. *sometimes* it is, but for many people it just ISN'T!!! it's not like everyone who is overweight is that way because they sit around eating mcdonalds and ice cream on the hour! some of us diet, some of us even diet AND exercise! i am SO glad you are getting all your bloodwork done as well as the thyroid and liver function tests. it is so very important! please don't let the "big scary number" upset you too much. it is just a number after all. the most important thing is your health ... shortness of breath, the stress the extra weight is putting on your heart ... *those* are the kinds of things you should be most concerned with, as well as your emotional well-being. at least your doctor is running tests ... the last time i saw mine he told me i should just look into gastric bypass or lapband, since i obviously was having so much trouble doing it on my own. yeah, thanks for the vote of confidence, jerkoff! best wishes for getting to the bottom of *whatever* the underlying issue is! here's to your health!
