  2. heather graham : hangover
  3. you'll find lots of info here and the AMresorts chain (secrets/dreams) is one of the best! congrats!
  4. that's a lot of bling! very nice! love the detailing on the side of your e-ring. seriously heart it.
  5. nailing down your date and venue are the tough things ... after that it's all happy planning! jamaica's requirements for legal marriage aren't as bad as mexico's, but if customizing your ceremony is important to you i'd say get legally married in the states.
  6. oooh a true elopement ... sometimes during the planning i wished we had done this! LOL and happy planning!

    Introduction

one of my coworkers just came back from a vacation in hilton head and loved it! happy planning!

  12. haven't popped into this thread for awhile but wanted to say hi and congrats to all the recent DC brides! and more importantly, wanted to tell you that claudia is on facebook (she probably doesn't want you all to know that, lol!) sorry i still never did my review. every time i sit down to do it i just get overwhelmed!
  13. awww i think we all experienced this! it seemed like one thing after another (car repairs, speeding tickets, pay cuts at work, medical/dentistry bills), and if it wasn't us, it was almost everyone we knew losing their jobs ... we thought we'd end up with no one at the wedding! in the end it somehow all worked out. i think the pre-wedding stresses, especially the financial ones, are like mini tests of your relationship. you're not far off now ... you can do it!
  14. hard to know what's "age appropriate" without knowing your age, lol! is this your first wedding? some people let that dictate the extravagance of their dress. overall, i think a bride is a bride at any age (i was 36 when i got married for the first time) and there are many beautiful options from the simplest slip dress to beaded ballgowns. go with what you love and what makes you feel beautiful (and bridely!) without worrying what's appropriate. you'll learn in this forum there are really no "rules" in DWs!
  15. and best of luck planning. you can't go wrong with a dreams resort!
  16. your seamstress is amazing for keeping the dress's style despite taking it in so many sizes! and soooooo cheap too ... are you related to her? LOL seriously how did you find her, and can you recommend her to other brides in your area? she is very talented. you look amazing in the dress and i think wavy hair will look wonderful with the ruffle of the dress.
  17. thank you so very much for posting this! i'm sure all the upcoming cabo brides are heaving a huge collective sigh of relief right now! glad that all those who live/work in the area are safe as well. we sometimes get a little wrapped up in our weddings and forget all about the locals. i know i was guilty during the swine flu debacle!
  18. i mean really, the girl has some serious guns! she is muscular as hell. lift up the damn table! she's one of the few really good actresses on the show tho, IMO. i don't think anna paquin is a good actress at all and next to whomever it is who plays tara (don't know her name) she looks *really* bad.

LOL me too! and now that we're married i probably tune him out even more! LMAO! we are WAY better than those knotties. and p.s. i don't think their nickname is cute at all ... sounds too much like "nazis"
