  1. ahhhhh heather! everything looks A.MAZ.ING.!!!! i can't believe our little H-bomb is getting married so soon!!!!!!!!!!! everything is so chic and put-together-looking. after my ghetto-ass planning thread i'm totally jealous! your wedding is going to be fab. omg shoes ... heart!

  3. thanks kelly and ginalyn ... basically they gave my dad 18 months to live. too much family sh*t to deal with to worry about dieting right now. it's honestly the least of my concerns. but that's enough off-topic convo here. who's got a daily/weekly challenge? i loved the squats-before-peeing one ... so creative! it sounds like you ladies are making it fun at least!
  4. hey no results yet this week? i missed weigh-in and honestly i think i'm going to opt-out altogether. sorry ladies. i know it's funny because i was the one advertising this season of BL all over the forum trying to recruit you girls (and i even almost hosted). i will definitely keep checking in to root you all on. anyway, i've got mega-stressful personal-life crap that's making me stuff my face ridiculously (eating is my coping mechanism ... always has been, which is likely why i'm overweight to begin with). i just can't focus on me right now at all. who knows, maybe i'll change my mind and jump back in next week. in the meantime, best of luck to all of you.
  5. but i am LOLing at keira's siggy pic!
  6. thanks ladies ... it's probably not even going to be an issue since it's really hard to even get in the mood for sex these days, and last time i checked sex was kinda necessary for baby-making! anyway, it's so great to come to this thread and read so much happy news! it really helped bring a smile to my face. and we all know forum girls make the best moms! so again, congrats ladies (even you skinny biatches who have smaller bumps than i do when i'm not even preggers)!
  7. danielle, so happy for you!!! amy, what a horrible thing to go thru ... but so very happy to see your baby armadillo blob pic!! congrats!!! some of me thinks that maybe i should start trying to give my dad a grandchild while he's still around. but the thought of dealing with my dad's terminal illness while pregnant seems too overwhelming, not to mention what the stress might do to the baby. so i'm torn.
  8. aww kelly without knowing any of the details, i would have to agree with the girls here who said you guys have TONS of stress in your lives right now! prior to marriage did you two ever have any *really* stressful times that you had to work together to get through? if so, how did you handle it then? is he also taking this weekend to think about what HE wants? i confess i have been snapping at T for every little thing lately (completely due to how stressed i've been) and i know he doesn't deserve it at all. take a step back, breathe, and take a moment to remember the things that made you love each other in the first place.
  9. hahaha i'm so glad this thread got revived ... it cracks me up!
  10. LOVE LOVE LOVE the piggy wine. awesomeness. yay for totally after-the-fact planning threads!
  11. wow stacey, HUGE loss! congrats!!! i don't know how i lost anything at all, but i'll take it.
  12. girls, i just got news he's thru the surgery and is ok! the tumor was malignant but they believe it to be primary, not metastatic, which is fantastic news. ok guess my excuse for being a fatass is gone, lol. need to stop this: and start this:
  13. hi ladies ... i have to admit with what's going on in my personal life right now i haven't even started to diet. in fact, i've been eating worse (with some sort of fast food for almost every meal ... gross) because i've been driving back and forth to the hospital 2 hrs away to see my dad. he is having brain surgery right now as i type this. hopefully everything goes well today and the news is good ... otherwise i'm not sure i'll be able to focus on me anytime soon. hope everyone else is doing better than i am. if my dad comes thru ok today i'm going to heave a huge sigh of relief and just pretend the contest starts tomorrow instead of a week ago. every day is a gift and a new chance to start again.
  14. omg your wedding is HERE! are you flipping out with excitement?!?!
  15. thanks amanda. he's ok (kinda) for now. we're in a holding pattern waiting for further tests and further test results to figure out the right course of action. it's a brain tumor and we don't know much more than that. i have two more confessions for today: 1) i just spent like the past 2 hours playing bejewled blitz. yes, i am still at work. 2) i am wearing my wedding-day underwear today. for whatever reason, that makes me smile.
  16. is everyone still watching? there is supposed to be a "runway romance" this week between one of the models and logan!
  17. i confess that it's really quite retarded the extent of how much i missed the shoutbox convo this week, lol. i was going thru withdrawal. staying off this forum for even a couple of days feels like losing a part of yourself. i really need to get a life outside of the internet. really. (we miss you amanda! i don't know how you're doing it!)

This game is all about motivation and support, so let's get more in the group oh this is GREAT news! i just crapped my pants when i realized i spaced and forgot all about the contest (my dad's been in the hospital all week). good thing i didn't end up hosting, lol. i will take a start weight tonight and send it.

(maybe even during my college years) there was no such thing as a zero, a double zero, or an extra-small! not that i would have worn any of those, ever, LOL, but they simply didn't exist. and yes, if anyone was that thin everyone would have assumed they were either a coke or heroin addict, or a serious anorexic who needed medical attention. unless they are negatively effecting your health, embrace your curves, ladies! they're what separate the WOMEN from the girls!
  21. yay for AHRs this weekend! congrats ladies! don't forget to have a great time (i.e. eat and drink everything in sight) because the diet starts next week!

LOL poor ginalyn! make sure have something close by that you can gouge your eyes out with, ok?
