    i dont think anyone has an visuals on the poolside! there was one photo floating around but many people claimed that the photo was not of the riu ocho rios..... i would like some visuals too!

    I got this flyer in my email saying that for the week of October 20th-26th there is up to 35% off. Also there is free shipping on ALL travel mugs and poly bottles..now i dont know if that free shipping includes Canadians. Also said that every monday until the new year there are going to be big blowout prices....just so your aware! I got my travel mugs for my oot bags already from discountmugs.com and they turned out perfect!

    Lee's travel says its about 3 to 3 1/2 hours from Ocho Rios to Negril...we decided on not going with Lee's and heading to the airport with our family that is leaving that day and just taking the Couples bus over...its all paid for included anyways so why not.

    If you book seperate it might be very costy.....we were looking at different dates for our wedding originally and when we thought that we actually had to be at the RIU two full business days before our only option would have been to book the flight and hotel seperate and it was TONS more....

    We are getting married at ROR and for every 16 people booked we get a free trip (we still need to pay the 200 somthing taxes). This was thru Sunquest.

    Its possible that things are already booked up for January! I think Janauray and April seem to be the hot months to get married......just by looking at how many BDW brides on here are getting married in those months- plus all those poor ppl that dont know about this forum!!!

    You should check out Couples website..there is a forum there that you can look through and it can answer a lot of questions! I am going there (Couples Negril) for my honeymoon in April, so excited!

    I think it all depends on the month...I have heard ppl complain about sandfleas in one month, and then someone disagree about having them another month...i forget which months are worse!! lol...i know this happened to me in Cuba.. I went to the same resort twice..once in February and the sand fleas were horrible and then again the next year in March/April and there were none at all....
