  1. Hi Ena, welcome to the forum!! You'll find so much info in time!
  2. Hm, if you really want to order something from the sites that only ship to the US there are a few options, but they're difficult to come by sometimes... Do you have someone you know in the US that you can have the item shipped to them first & then have them ship it to you? It would add an extra cost, but at least you could get it that way. My other suggestion is more tricky. Is there somewhere across the border in the US that you can have something shipped to? For example my sister lives in Thunder Bay & when we order things online we have them sent to Rydens Border Store in Grand Portage, MN. Then my sister will cross the border to go get them. But we happened across this by fluke so it might be hard to come by! Justa few thoughts. Sorry I can't think of any actual websites that ship to Canada. Poor us! lol
  3. I'll admit that I'm too lazy to read through all 92 pages, but from that I have read...You guys are doing great!!!!! Keep up the good work! & anybody who didn't have a good week, don't give up! Use it as motivation to keep going!!!! Looking forward to hearing the end results! (& joined the next installation! LOL) Did you guys decide on a prize? ( I searched the thread, but can't find a final result... )

I fumed all night thinking about what they were doing (even called both my Mom & sister to complain that I couldn't do anything to help you! lol)
  5. I honestly don't have a single complaint about the resort at all! (it's actually one of our top choices for wedding locations as of now!) I have recommended it to all my friends/family. The staff was great, food was delicious, & nothing went wrong all week. At one point someone even stole my towel & I was afraid of how much they were going to charge me (somebody has told me it could be up to $50) & they just gave me a new towel free of charge after I told them what happened! I really loved Cabo in general too! We walked downtown along the beach one day to go shopping. Walked to WalMart one day also. Went snorkelling on an afternoon boat cruise & that was awesome too! Hm, that's all I can think of for now. Feel free to ask any specific questions!

  9. A bit of background info: We rent the upstairs apartment of an older home. 2 guys (who are never home - work in town, live out of town) live on the main floor & the basement is unfinished, but attached to the main floor apartment. So I tried to take a shower yesterday morning & noticed it was pretty chilly. I figured either the guys downstairs used all the hot water or we were having some minor pipe problems (older home, so it's a possibility!) Then last night I noticed a funny, burning-like, smell wafting around. Mat was working nightshift so I was alone. I personally sniffed every electrical outlet in my apartment, as well as every vent leading from the main floor. I determined it wasn't from up here so something was downstairs. I actually thought it was cigarette smoke, but smelled alot stronger. So finally this morning I wake up shivering in the cold!!! Checked the thermostat (guys downstairs control the heat) & it said it's only 17C in the house! Brrrrr!!!! So finally Mat drags his butt outta bed around 2 this afternoon. FINALLY Deputy Dipshit from downstairs calls to tell us there's a foot of water in the basement & it has caused the hot water tank & furnace to konk out. LOVELY! And to top it all off he claims he didn't notice until this afternoon & says he wasn't home last night (he knew Mat was nightshift so figured we didn't know any better) when I know he was home because his lights were on AND HIS TRUCK WAS IN THE DRIVEWAY!! Now we have to wait until tomorrow morning to have someone check everything out. Mat is being MrToughGuy & saying we're going to stay here tonight despite multiple offers to go stay with friends for the night. It's -12C outside with the wind & it's only 17C in my house right now! Even Emma my rabbit is turning into a little bunnsicle right now! (Im plugging in a block heater for her tonight!) Okay, phewf. That's my cold rant. Feels better!! I just typed this out while wearing leather gloves because I'm just that chilly! LOL
  10. lol!!! You made my smile with that. Think you can find any sort of SLA meetings? (swimsuit lovers anonymous) hehe

  12. Thanks for those suggestions! She really likes Arowhon Pines so far! (I just e-mailed them to get some information for her) She really loves Deerhurts too, but it's a bit too $ for them. If you can think of any other lodge-type locations, feel free to throw the info in this general direction
  13. Congrats on the upcoming wedding! You're going to find so much info here!
  14. I really like both of them!! The blue rocks really pop out & the flower is just beautiful! I like Alyssas suggestion to change the flower to white though. Would stand out a bit more I think.
  15. LOL looks like you gals had a blast!! I personally think the red pants are way better than the sunglasses... might have to borrow those bad boys!
  16. Here are a few I came across: Pretty simple, but could be pretty with the roses. You could even have the little dots done in colour to add some pop to the cake Maybe with your colours & without the gerberas on top Also used with your colours ( could be done using buttercream instead of fondant <I think!>)
  17. The boys are watching hockey at my place right now & I am SO not interested so I'll do a bit of web searching right now! Anything else you want me to keep in mind other than the colors & stuff you already posted?
  18. Really great haircut!!! It suits you very well!! & the glasses are pretty cute too
  19. Wow! Did anyone else notice how neat the free-standing bathtub was? lol
  20. Alrighty I'm hoping some of yous who live in these areas may be able to help me out!! My sister & her bf are considering getting married this summer/fall in the Ottawa Valley/Algonquin Park areas & they're looking for some places that could be a possible wedding location! They're looking for a smaller, more intimate place (ie/ she fell in love with a Maple Farm) Her bf's mother is ill & has been getting worse so depending on her condition in the next while they may need to get started quickly on the planning. Any infomation or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
  21. LOL thank you guys for making me feel better!! I have to admit it was pretty tasty at the moment Oh yeah, Girl Guides. What do you call them? The cookies are to DIE for! They switched up to these nasty mint cookies for a while, but now theyre back on track with the original ones...
  22. Hey Grayz! Welcome to the forum! I've got my fingers crossed that they have someone for that date for you!
