I think it's hilarious!! I noticed my car is almost empty today & when I went to pull into the gas station the price was posted at.... $1.33 a litre!!!! That's $5.03 a gallon!!!!! I pulled a U-turn out of there ASAP, got home, parked my car & walked everywhere for the rest of the day! lol so I'm with the kid in the cartoon, I just can't afford the gas!

I've never been on theknot.com or any other forum, but when I first joined here I did find some of the short forms pretty confusing! (FMIL, OOT, DH... VERY confusing at first!!!!)

So I found another great item at Dollarama today ( can you tell I go there alot?? lol ) I bought these for the shower at the gym, but they would be great for your guests in your OOT bags! (super lightweight so they won't be heavy to take & who cares if you lose them because they were only a buck!) They're super comfy! I usually hate flip-flops because I can't stand things between my toes, but they're not bad at all! They're pretty soft & somewhat foamy/squishy. They have alot of cute colours too. (orange, pink, blue & green from what I remember) They had some navy blue & black mens flip-flops too but I'm not sure what they're like because I didn't look at them. <PS - notice the HUGE scratch across the wood floors? I think that's from when I had to drag the stove across the room LOL OOPS!! Thankfully we're renting & the owner is going to redo the floors this summer he he he)

I've been slacking & feeling very lazy (although I feel motivated! I really do!) so I thought maybe by posting my before pics on here, I could help give myself an extra boost. I'm not overly hard on myself, body-image wise. I used to have a rock-hard body in highschool from playing sports, but I was a tall, thin stick. I am much more curvier & I much prefer it now! I have a great butt & breasts (in my opinion!) I just need to tone up a bit & gain some of my fitness back. I'm not shy to wear a bikini or tight clothing. I do not constantly compare myself to thin, pretty women. I am more or less pretty happy with the way I look & just want to improve on the near-perfection that I already am! (LOL) I might sound like I'm full of shit, but I'm just being honest with myself here. They say that the pics are surprising because you don't notice that on a daily basis. As much as I think they're sweet & appreciate it, I think it's a better motivation to see them (all squished up there for the world to see!) I am hoping to lose 20 pounds in the next 8 weeks, but will not be heartbroken if I don't reach the number. I'm going to try to gauge my "success" on how I feel & look in my clothing. This post seems very blah, not my usual happy self typing, only because I'm really tired & want to go to bed! I just needed to get this posted because I've been slacking since Wednesday!

So I did great all day eating-wise. I passed on the doughnuts & italian sausages at my friends garden centre grand opening... I had Subway for lunch... and then I ended up bbqing a sirloin burger for dinner... as much as it's not a take-out burger or anything, but it made me feel so gross!

The thing that just made me really happy tonight is my car - which is funny because she's nothing fancy (yes, my car is a she & she even has a name! lol) My friend had a brand new Mazda 3 & I have an older Sunfire. She always makes snide comments about her fancy shmancy special-a** Mazda which gets irritating... so tonight we're leaving a friends place & it was chilly so I hit my automatic start & our other friend asked if she was going to start hers too & she admitted she didn't have a car starter... Well it sounds petty, but I actually said "Score one for the Sunfire!!" out loud! LOL Might sound dumb, but I'm so sick of her putting down my car! PS - Another thing that makes me happy about my car is that I own it, while she'll be paying hers off for the next 5 years!

Proativ burned the living sh*t out of my face! It looked like I has nasty windburn all over the place... wasn't pretty! At least it cleared up on it's own eventually.... I get psoraisis on my scalp pretty bad sometimes. It doesn't bother me much but I'm tough. My sister gets it & she gets very embarassed. It looks like you have giant chunks of dandruff & if it gets irritated it turns red & can scab. Sucks, but getting my hair coloured & the sunshine (or tanning) really help to control it! IMO you can do as much weights as you want, but it's going to be cardio that's going to burn the fat for you. Even in those hard to get places (arms, etc) I do heavier weights at the gym, but nothing will get my "flab" toned well without the cardio. I find it exhausting to do an hour of weights and then try to do cardio while at the gym, so I try to do them seperate.

I just don't understand how the children get enough attention from their parents. They're a very loving, well-adjusted family (from what I've seen on their show) but in my opinion, one-on-one time with your parents is very important to me & I don't see how they can provide equal time to their children.... And also it's great to learn a trade - but were they pushed into thst direction or felt it was necessary? I mean it's a great career, but maybe they only got involved because it would help the family out. Maybe they really want to be a chef, or a banker, or a clown for all we know! lol I just think that enough's enough.

My first day was so/so. Nothing great, but not a huge slacker day either! I went to the gym, but didn't eat overly healthy (or overly bad really) I need to step up my cardio because all I've been doing lately is building muscle so I've gained a bit of numbers on the scale, but everything feels tighter & my clothes are looser! How's everyone else doing so far?!

I'm happy because I had a latte from my new Tassimo coffee maker. Other than that, my day sucks & I am not happy at all!
