  1. Congrats to both I love the hair flower w/feathers...where did you get that from? and your bouquet is really pretty...what kind of flowers are they? It looked like you had cream roses but I couldn't make out what the others were. Great pics and you looked absolutely gorgeous!

I have found over the years to keep the heat out of it. I mostly get a roller set, roller wrap, and a lot of up styles. I keep it conditioned. Also I've had the same hair stylist since I was a senior in high school. In July of last year she cut off 10 inches and I sent it to Locks of Love. I also get my hair chemically relaxed but not colored. What shampoo and conditioner do you use? Your hair looks amazing God bless your sweet heart for donating your hair to Locks of Love.
  7. Your pics are AMAZING! Your photog did a beautiful job capturing your special day. You guys looked fabulous! I love the background song for the slide...can you tell me who sings it?
  8. I like the smaller one the best. BTW, you have gorgeous hair...what is your secret into maintaining it? I would love to know

He is amazingly quick and I cannot wait to get my wooden cake topper. I don't like to post prices, but lets just say the 2 letters and the starfish was less than a single 3 inch topper from 1/8th inch mirrored acrylic from Monogram Cake Toppers / Wedding Cake Toppers / Cake Toppers. The starfish is 5 inches and the letters are 4 inches tall. What I love the most is that I got exactly what I wanted! He does not have a website or anything, but his email is craftyeddy (at) gmail (dot) com. You can google the email addy and find lots of great things about him! I was a bit hesitant to use a wood cake topper, but after reading how many brides did this, I figured it cant be that big of a deal. I plan on spray painting it silver and then covering them with rhinestones. Here is a pic of my final pieces! Wow! I love your cake topper He did a great job making them for you...especially creating a beach theme. I'm planning to use him. Thanks for sharing
  10. I never head of this type of waxing. I'm going to see if I can find a place that does that in my town. I'm curious...did it hurt a bit? Thanks for sharing By the way, I love your siggy pic

Maybe a hotel that offers beach weddings? We'd like to keep the ceremony simple and inexpensive (under $500). Any recommendations? Have you considered having the ceremony at San Cristobal Fort? I think they have a chapel there as well. You would have to pay for a permit $50 and obtain a liability insurance. It's in old San Juan and you can easily walk to the fort and then walk over to a restaurant for dinner and hit the clubs or bars for music and dancing. Here is the link to the fort for the information: San Juan National Historic Site - Permits (U.S. National Park Service) Let me know if you need a minister...I believe he is a non-denominational one and doesn't cost much.

  13. I also got it when I was pregnant with my daughter. I'm considering on having it done one day. How long did the cramping last? and how long did the procedure take? I had no idea that it would be uncomfortable.
  14. I think you should go with what makes you feel sexy. I do think that the mermaid style looks great on curvy women
  15. Don't worry you still have time to shed the extra pounds. I know weight scales may not be accurate so do stress out. You can do a detox to flush out water weight and also work out. Just think how fabulous your wedding will be when that time comes. Remember, your FI loves you for you and you will look gorgeous on your day
  16. Oh honey I'm so sorry for your loss He will be with you in spirit always. I'm glad you got to dance with him before.
  17. I met Alec Baldwin back in 2007. This was the weekend that he had called and left that outrageous message on his daughter's cell phone. My husband, baby daughter, and I were taking a US Airways flight from La Guardia airport to Washington, DC. They had called for pre-boarding and he was standing right behind us. He was asking my husband what my daughter's name was and said that she is a gorgeous baby. I didn't believe my husband at first but when he told me to look behind him...I was like OMG! He sat across from us and just kept looking back at my daughter smiling at us. I guess it reminded him of when his daughter was a baby. I know he was going to some kind of event at the Kennedy Center. Some young girl sat next to him and he was chatting with her. They were talking about movies. As soon as we arrived in DC, he quickly left. I should've taken a pic of him holding my daughter. Oh well lol!
  18. Welcome to the forum! The Majestic Colonial is a gorgeous resort. On Facebook.com there is a group called "Majestic Colonial" and they have pics and posts for anyone who is interested in this place.
