Hey girls I'm sure I have read threads on doing STD magnets yourself - can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm pretty sure I was on a thread today with a link to a thread all about it...but me being me can't find it now! doh! Any help would be appreciated! xxxxxxxxxxx

I am also stuck with this a little. We are sending out STD boarding passes and magnets (DIY) once we have confirmed with the hotel our date, but before we can book our accommodation through the TA. This will mean the date and time is 100% confirmed, and also gives people a date to have their deposits by to book their accommodation and flights. The bit I am stuck at is the invites...we are going to send them out nearer the time of the wedding, so by this point, it really would be too late for people to change their minds about going (as everyone is coming from the UK). We are getting message in the bottle invites - not DIY - so they cost a small fortune - I don't know whether to just send them to the people who have confirmed - or to send to everyone we have invited? Personally, we are only inviting family, and feel it would be a bit rude to not give some people invites just because they can't afford to come to our wedding....but on the other hand...I can't help but think there is no point giving them one!lol But i take on board a point made earlier, people do like to keep invites as keep sakes, so it would mean the people who can't make it to Mexico at least have that! xxxxxxxx
