  1. I'm your age and I'm having a poolside party with lots of champange. My friend was 40 when she got married and we went to Vegas and had a blast. I think the limo thing would be fun.

Hmmm...maybe I should start a "What drinks to order at Dreams" thread... Yeah. I think that would be a great idea. I know we were told that Dreams is really the only AI that served premium liquor

We are also meeting with Juan Carlos Tapia, so excited!! Talk to you all when I return! Hooray! Ooh . Great. I'll get more information. I love that some of you get to do a site visit. It really helps us brides who can't do one.
  4. Wow, really. The last time I saw flip flops there, they were like $5.00 . I guess there is a sale?
  5. I think there is thread like this already, but I'm staying at same resort where I'm getting married.
  6. Hi. I would like to give a personalized robe to my MOH; my sister and I was thinking of getting the flower girls; my sister's daughters matching ones. I can't find a place to get a child's robe. Does anyone have ideas where I can get these?
  7. I think most men don't really like the details of weddings. My FI gave me full discretion to plan teh wedding and he seems happy about all the details, but he doesn't always help too much. I wouldn't feel bad. Take it as he wants you to have your dream wedding.
  8. I've seen many couple mix culture/tardition and it comes out very nice. I think it will please both sides of the families too.
  9. We are staying at same hotel and most guests are leaving after wedding so we will have alone time for like three days or so. We do plan on getting away somewhere locally when we get home just to have more quality time.
  10. Thank you so much for your site review. It makes me happy that I chose a great resort. We share vendor Rev. Marco and he sounds great . I cannot wait to eat all the great food. Did you choose a package at Dreams or are you doing a la carte?
  11. Aww! Don't be sad. My friend went through this and it lasted a while, but I think it was because of the money spent. I think it will take some time. Maybe you and your hubby should take a small trip somehwere and do romatic stuff. That always makes me feel better.
  12. Your dress looks simple enough so I think it can be altered without issues. I didn't lose 20lbs, but my dress was big and it has lace detailing and the seamstress is able to fix it .
  13. Yeah. That's a great idea. I'm still shopping for mine. Those are great websites you found. Thanks for sharing!
  14. Yeah. Weight loss is so hard. I've started to drink a green tea from Herbalife that cleans out your system and I have mixed in two types of cardio so I can see faster results
  15. I told my Dad to wear linen pants and a nice shirt; Mexican/tropical style. He left it up to my step-mom and I found out she bought him a linen suit so he and my FI may look alike on wedding day.
  16. I felt guilty too, but I realized that you shouldn't feel guilty on doing what you want on your wedding day. I think people who attend will do it whole heartedly so don't worry.
