I had another copy made so that I would have copies with me upon arrival incase something went wrong. -

*Lol* we do talk alot..we are queen blabber!!!! You guy are lucky ducks...I got a buttload of days to work still Booo!!! I got my tickets on christmas eve actually which I was very surprised. I originally thought they would be e-tickets but it was an actual slip of paper we got in a big sunquest folder. And yes, the free vouchers for drinks were for on the plane. I ordered the luggage just before christmas and it was here within a week...was super fast!!! If you order it now, you might have it in time to use it to go! I was reading on skyservice the other night and you can also reserve specific seats..the cost is $35. I believe a few in our group may be doing this as my noni (grandma) is 85 and will probably wanna be close to the front. It's something to think about. -
Thanks Tan!! I have heard you need to hunt her down sometimes...so that info is helpful

I paid my 50% yesterday so my appointments are booked. I got hair and makeup for both myself and my matron of honour and its gonna cost $300. I didn't want any of the packages and I am having my nails done here *much cheaper* so that kinda screwed me a bit. The packages are a little more responable. -

I was all over that voucher. We got the free luggage...taking it with us as Brad didn't have his own luggage yet. It's red! -
I will try and stall her *lol*. Finding her seems to be an issue according to some of these posts. We will definitely have to try and meet up sometime for a drink...maybe the pool bar or something...*lol*. Have a great new year!!

OK..I have a situation..We are moving to London for February 1st but I have to start my new job on January 19th and I have no where to stay. I'm stressed over the idea of having to stay in London by myself to begin with and now it seems as if I will have to stay in a motel or something. I need to stay there from Sunday the 18th to Friday morning the 23rd and then again on Sunday the 25th to Friday morning. WHERE DO I STAY?!?! Any recommendations?!?! what is it you are looking for?? something close to work? good price?? There are lots of nice hotels on wellington and throughout downtown. If I was around, I would come visit ya but we will still be in jamaica. London is a fun place though, there is lots to do....shopping, movies, casino. It won't be as bad as you are making it. Trust me. -

fyi ladies... I took this off the skyservice site Wedding Dresses Dress must be contained in a garment bag and may be carried on the aircraft in addition to regular sized carry-on baggage. Dresses must be placed in the overhead bin only, as there are no closet facilities onboard. -

Also, I used VistaPrint to make 4 t-shirts with monograms & dates for our stag & doe..I think it was around $50 all together with shipping. They are located in ON so it didn't take long for them to get to me..maybe a week...just a thought! Amanda ~ I have to get those parasols to you..what's Sunday like for you? We could meet up or something..let me know..give me a call!! So..I had a crazy holiday and when I came back to work on Sunday I ended up having to go to emerge. It appears as if one of my superficial veins was inflammed and found out I had a blood clot that popped. So..I was off work yesterday on meds with my leg wrapped..not fun! I'm back at work now..waiting for my doctors appt. on the 9th to get more answers..OH JOY! On a somewhat happy note..I am kid free until the 1st in the evening..sounds great and all but of course Jeff is working late which means although I will get some "me" time I won't get any "Jeff" time LOL Oh well..what's a girl to do?!?! Ohh and I'm still trying to find a place in London for my impending move...no luck yet. We found a house that we thought was perfect only to find out it was taken. I'm soo looking forward to having a few drinks tomorrow night!!! YEAH!!! Wow, that is not good at all!! I hope everything is alright and your leg gets taken care of. Finding a house in london shouldn't be too big of a task. I have been hearing around the area that there are lots for sale right now. Which area are you looking in -

Its just that I know there are a lot of people that will not be able to make our wedding, so I feel obligated to have a little something back home. We were thinking of something casual, like a backyard luau or something like that. Just wanted to hear from you guys..who is actually doing this themselves and what the planning process is. We are getting married May 9, 2009, so we were thinking of having it in June or July. Also, if we decide to have an AHR, what do we do for the bridal shower? I was thinking of having my sister put on the bridal shower invites, at home reception to follow... something along those lines. Thank you!! I felt the same way you guys did so we decided not to do the AHR. Part of the reason we picked the destination wedding is because we really didn't want a big to do so we are keeping it that way. I think it's your wedding and you should do what you want to do. Don't let others pressure you if its not something you want.

My mom is coming the week before the wedding and we're meeting up with 7 other people so I"m going to tell them to leave room in their carry on bags for some of my crap!! You should definitley look at doing the same! I know I would never fit all of my wedding stuff in my carry on!! Yay!! I can't wait to meet you guys!! You're right - it will be great to put actual faces to all the friends who've helped us along the way!! I feel like getting everyone's mailing addy's so I can send out Thank you cards!! LOL Ya, that is a good idea forsure. I don't think I will be bogged down as some though. I have kept things fairly simple as that was why I was doing the DW. I know my favours are being dispersed but other than that, I just basically have the clothing I am gonna wear and maybe a couple bathing suits to go in carry on. This site is crazy eh...where would you be without some of you ladies to babble on to. I was actually a head of my TA on a lot of things cause there is soo much info on here about ROR. Definitely kudos to everyone here...great group of girls. -
I've heard that there is both. There is an actual key for some rooms and the others have the cards. I guess it just depends on what room you get.

She told me this as well. I think I am pre-booking so that I am guaranteed a spot. It's screwy though, with the amount of wedding they do in a day you'd think that they would bulk up their staff so they could accomodate everyone. -

It will be great to see you guys off in person!! Maybe we can all go in the bathroom & try on our dresses for each other!! Well you keep your eye out too. What I might do is maybe grab Christene and we will both come find ya. It will be nice to put some face to names and meet some of these girls I have been talking with. There are a few at ROR I would like to have a drink with as well. Should be interesting. I at least wanna see your dress before you go...*lol* putting it on might be a feat but even just seeing it would be great. Have you starting to pack yet??
