I took the design from the bridal shop but my mom is making mine. More of a personal sentament to it. I have been lucky as my mom has made a lot of my wedding things.

the music...you said you hooked your ipod up to speakers I am thinking I don't want the steel drum band..but was wondering if they had something to play music with. Can you get these speakers anywhere??

Hi all, Just wanted some feedback from people that had buck and does before their destination wedding. Did it go well?? Did you have a lot of people show up? Was it worth it due to the fact that everyone couldn't make it to the wedding? We chose not to do a AHR but are considering a the possibility of maybe a buck and doe so we can share some time with the people that couldn't attend the wedding. I am worried that this will seem as if we are just out for money and that is not the case. What do you ladies think?

I am going with flip flops for both. I was worried about the sand burning my feet. Its a dw, in my opinion, who wants to wear a heel?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I think the flowers at Riu are kinda pricey so bringing your own sounds like a good idea.

Did anyone have troubles with the rose petals blowing away? I wanted to do my aisle with them (and purchase them here in canada) but I am scared they won't stay in place.

I had to have 10 people booked before I could get my confirmation number. What we did was emailed the reservations and asked how long we had to book. There is a two month period where your date will be held. If you have your rooms booked in by then, you will still have that date. Hope this helps

Send him an email. I did this and took him a couple days to respond but he did.
