The reason why I say this is because they get you to walk pretty much right away and by the time one song finishes you will be standing there waiting for a while. The "aisles" aren't that long. All 3 of us walked down before the song even finished. I had the 1 song to walk down the aisle to then 5 songs that played during the ceremony, signing etc. Honestly, I don't even remember hearing them and if you have guests I'm sure the music will be turned down so they can hear you (even with a microphone) say your vows etc. I then had 10 "steel drum band" songs with a carribean/beachy theme to them that played after the ceremony. We barely got through the 10 songs then we had our pic session on the beach etc. Personally, I had 1 cd with 17 songs. 1 to walk down the aisle to, 5 wedding/instrumental songs to play during the ceremony and then 10 songs to play during toast, pics etc. 1 song to dance to and that was it. This is just my opinion but if you give them too many cd's they won't know what to do with them lol thanks for this tip. I may adjust what I am using then and walk down to somewhere over the rainbow too. *lol* we totally highjacked this.....sorry ladies -
Train or no train?

I feel its part of being a bride (in my eyes). I just had them do a bustle so I could put it up for dancing and such. -
Now that's dedication!! Glad you are having a wonderful time and can't wait to see your pics. Must be soo exciting be married in a brand new resort. Congratulations

Riu Brides...bringing own music...

You guys are going all modern eh? I am doing some beachy and some traditional. This is what i have so far.. somewhere over the rainbow (MOH entrance), Cannon in D (my entrance), one love (signing of marriage license) and Komo (recessional). I think we will need to pause though before walking down the aisle as SOTR and Cannon in D take a bit to get going. I have started some of my tunes for before/after got some Marley, Beach boys, UB40, Bedouin Soundclash, Jimmy Buffet and working on others. If anyone has idea for me, fire away If I end up doing the disco for a bit, I will probably make a cd with first dance (amazed maybe) and some groovin tunes to shake my bootie to. -

Plus about 4 or 5 years ago FI fostered four teenage boys for about 3 or 4 years full-time! I think he needs a break!!! LOL That is understandable...and you guys still have lots of time

Or do they just play the CD continuously through the entire ceremony? Thanks for any info! I am doing a mixed cd with beachy music for before and after the wedding. A separate cd with about 4 (one for MOH, one for me, one for signing of license and one for walkin back down aisle after married) songs for the wedding. -

Bubba Keg's are great. We used them on our last trip to Cuba last year. I have a new one this year (cause I figured I might want a bigger one for the beach) its a great big green bugger!!! *lol* I call it "the green monster". I was actually filling my smaller one from my FH's large one last year. Definitely no two gulp drinks Wheww hoo! Try this addy Kar, Norwood Promotional Products or Crown Products - Whatever it Takes!. I actually emailed "bubba kegs" to see if they would engrave our wedding date on some bubba's. Cost was too much though. -

We did a group rate and needed to get 10 people to put deposits down to secure the rate (I did this in early April for my Jan 2009 wedding). We then had 2 months more to get everyone else we wanted to put deposits down as well to received the same rate). We just paid our final payments today! I ended up getting a free trip cause I had 16 people book..BONUS!!! and then a $200 credit for sunquest's e-boutique (which has lots of different items to choose from). I think I did alright!!!

I decided I am going to wear a piece of my grandmother's jewellery. It was something she loved so I thought it would be a good way to remember her on my day. Only a few people know (mom, dad and fh). -

My fiance thinks he should take a suitcase full and sell them. *lol* hey, that's not a bad idea (selling them)!!! I wanted to do them for our favours but the cost was going to be around $300. A bit too pricy. The 6 of us youngsters have them though..some big some little.
