    I got quoted a pretty good price for BM dresses through them, but I've never heard of them until today. Anyone used them before?

    Has anyone used DJ Bob in the Riviera Maya area? I could have sworn I'd seen threads on him before, but I can't find it with the search function. I'm really concerned about the flow of the reception and I heard the DJ at Iberostar is mainly there just to play music and not serve as the MC. Please let me know what your experience was like with him if you have used him!

    This is a great idea-for both the veil and BM dresses! I hate wearing skirts & dresses b/c I've had a few bad experiences when the wind picked up suddenly!

    My STD & invitations are going to be completely different. I think you can go either way on this. I wanted to do a fun/casual STD that incorporated our dogs in the pic dressed up in sombreros, but I want our invitations to be more formal, yet fun. I'm sure it would be nice if everything matched, but I think you can go outside the box with a DW! That's just my 2 cents

    I think this is such an interesting post. My FH has no relationship with his dad and knows nothing about that side of his family. I'm going to do some research about his side of the family. Thanks for the links everyone posted. I'm excited!!!

    I agree that an AHR is not necessary. People who want to be there will make it happen. If people don't come to the wedding, then unfortunately they missed out! I don't think you should have to have another party to accommodate those that chose not to attend.

    That is very cheap from what I've seen. I would suggest you book it asap! I wish my prices would go down that low!

    Any of you Dallas girls know of any upcoming sample sales for wedding dresses in the Dallas area? I've been googling like crazy and can't seem to find anything except for info about past sales. When do they normally have sample sales?

    I was thinking about using battery operated candles and put them in a frosted votive holder. That way it looks like there's an actual candle flame, but it's not obvious that it's not a real candle in there.
