Hey ladies, here's the link to some of my pro pics. There's also a link where you can see a gallery of around 85 photos. -
Thanks so much for all the comments ladies! We were so lucky not only to have our photographer with us but at least 5 friends who are into photography as a hobby. It was definitely a well photographed trip! I am so excited to get the pro pics, seriously, minds will be blown!!! (that's a quote from DH)

Hey ladies, here's the link to a couple non-pro teaser pics! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t35867 -
I just got married at the Playa Pesquero Resort in Holguin. There's not a ton to do off the resort but it's a beautiful resort and we were very happy with everything!

Hey ladies, we just got back and have a couple pics from friends already. Wish the exception of about a million pics of me being horrified of a dolphin, our friends got some pretty good shots. We brought an amazing photographer with us and did both wedding and TTD. Stay posted for some teasers this week!

Hey ladies, I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your weddings. I just got back last night and will hopefully have some time to post a planning and review thread shortly. I also really need to put a "for sale" thread up. My parents are already hounding me to get my wedding stuff out of their place. The wedding was awesome, everything I dreamed it would be! I can't believe it's all over Can't wait to share the pics with you! -
Hey ladies, I just returned from my wedding at the Playa Pesquero resort! Everything was perfect and lovely! I will definitely be posting a review soon and I'll try to remember to link it to here. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me anytime. here's one little piece of advice, okay maybe two! 1)bring watches with alarm clocks! We only found one clock on the entire resort and they don't do wakeup calls! 2)Have someone check on your ceremony and reception set up before you arrive for the wedding. This will put your mind at ease. My ceremony was more beautiful than I hoped, the reception set up however was not at all what I asked for. THe ladies were lovely though and made all sorts of changes to make it exactly what I had dreamed of! Good luck, happy planning! oh yeah, I will post my Planning thread too, you might be able to steal a bunch of stuff from my brochure

If you’re bringing an electrical appliance, check before you leave to see if you need an adaptor or converter." I'm wondering what the resort has... Thanks!! I think we do need adaptors but I can let you know for sure in just over a week

Have any of you ever had a day where you just want to sleep until your wedding day? Today was a brutal day for me! School was rough. Came home, and was exhausted but I had to get off the couch to go to my nail appointment. I figured I should make the best of it so I stopped at Starbucks on the way only to find two ladies who were both training and had no idea what they were doing! I then got to my appointment and there was only one lady working and she was far from ready to start on my appointment, plus the salon was disgustingly dirty. They also only booked half my appointment, I'd still have to go out and get a pedicure!!! I decided to go with my gut and leave politely. When I said I'd have to leave and find a place that could do the whole appointment the lady was super rude to me. I think all of this is amplified by the fact that it's -39 degrees here right now! I just want to be in Cuba already! ~connie -

Weddings Actually on the Beach Questions

It's exactly what I was looking for.. I found this out the hard way when I was telling a Jewish friend all about how I wanted this really fancy CHuppa at my wedding. She corrected me, "ah, it's actually pronounced Hoopa" oh well, at least I knew what it looked like -

I really like the first one and the one where just one piece on the side is pulled up.

FI wants to see my dress!?!?
teacherbride replied to Kriswim's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
My FI wants to wait till our wedding but it's been killing both of us not being able to talk about what it looks like. It's such a big idea and we're so used to running outfits by each other and getting the other persons opinion. I think he'll like it but I totally agree about it being very different when you're all done up on THE day! -

My moving went really lame today. I have been moving stuff to our new place for a while already but I still had all my clothes at my parents house (where I've been living for the past bunch of years). Today I moved 3 laundry baskets of clothes and shoes and a computer desk. They're all actually still in FI's truck outside the condo b/c we decided to have friends over instead of moving. In more exciting news, tomorrow morning we're getting legally married!!! I really didn't want it to be anything at all official (we're just signing papers with our pastor) but it does feel pretty exciting! Now I just need to get some sleep! -
