  1. heather, I think they're replaying the segment today. It's great. welcome to our little world of baby gorillas, fudgie!
  2. ok, I can't be the only one who LOVED the Dr Drew narcissist quiz! it does not surprise me at all that Robin was OFF THE CHARTS!!!
  3. I'm conflicted, because ASU is in the tourney, but I HATE that they don't air episodes during the NCAA playoffs. So, they're setting this Kay thing up that Jill's not actually her daughter, huh? I actually like that twist. They need to get Brock in town to do a DNA test with Katherine. He'll be able to pick "Dutchess" out of a crowd (I never understood why he called her that). Sharon.....whack job! I don't usually like her character, but I have been enjoying her bitchy side coming out. She's just too milk-toast for me most of the time. Kevin.....really?? Can we just get past this. Yeah, when did Victor have his vasectomy reversed He's impregnating everyone he comes near these days.
  4. damn, you're quick broke : ramen
  5. I always told myself that there would not be a cheesy DJ playing the electric slide or the chicken dance at my wedding.....and there wasn't.
  6. Ok, I know I'm probably jinxing this, but doesn't Artie sound a bit better. Fingers crossed for our baby gorilla. I was glad to hear that he & "Dane-er" are hanging out (even if it was only for David Letterman).
  7. and I'm wondering how vindictive Katherine will be to Jill once she regains her memory & everyone finds out she really is Mrs.C. I wouldn't want to cross that character. Also setting up quite nicely for a Katherine & Billy vs. Jill & Cane showdown.

  10. Again, I'll be in the minority here, but I'm not a Jillian fan at all. She's a nice enough girl, but I don't think I can take an entire season of her as the Bachelorette. What ever happened to bringing in new blood. I am tired of them brining out regected bachelors & bachelorettes to be the main attraction. ugh!

  12. I didn't mean to slow the thread down. to everyone I probably annoyed. Continue with the bashing.
  13. agree to disagree. i just think when you're signing away your life to ABC ANYTHING is possible. If you're up for the good stuff (the trips, the ring, etc.) you have to be prepared for the bad. It's a shitty way for me to think, but ratings are king in show business. And make no mistake, it is a business.
  14. Alright, I'm sure I'm going to get slammed for having a conflicting opinion, but here goes. I refuse to feel sorry for someone who goes on a tv show that has proven over & over again that the "winners" rarely make it past the 3 month mark. I also refuse to feel sorry for Melissa getting dumped on TV....all the other ladies were dismissed on TV & we're ok with it every week. Melissa obviously knew when she walked on stage, she wasn't wearing that ring & looked mighty pissed off. What didn't really get elaborated on was how much detail did Jason & Melissa have with their "discussions" that they had once the show stopped taping. I know several women who have had those conversations & don't get it until a guy finally says (for lack of better words) "I'm just not that into you". We don't know what their discussions were. I don't dislike Molly at all. I think the producers creatively edited it all so we'd like Melissa & want her to win his heart. We weren't supposed to want Molly to be the F1. Now, before you go off on me, do I like what Jason did? No. But it's a television show. Do I like that the previous couples waited until their contracts were up before calling it quits? No. If it's not going to work, why should you have to play along for the allotted 4-6 months that ABC requires? I think it was all scripted last night, but even if it wasn't why should he string her along? Either way, I'm sure I (like so many of you) will most likely be watching the next season, because I love the drama.
  15. i want to be in love : what my best friend says
  16. it was always about her 15 minutes of fame. TICK, TICk, TIck, Tick, tick, tic......... Isn't she done already?!?

  19. That's a tough situation for you. We had a similar moment when planning our wedding (although my friend was not in our wedding party). My old roommate, who I love, was dating an asshole. He was disrespectful to us, one of our friends & my ex-roommate the one time we met him (she lives in another state & we went to visit). He was a real douchebag. She even commented that he's going to make a good ex-husband & father for her kids....she doesn't even think it'll work long term with him (but he has $$). My husband & I both decided that we didn't want this ass at our wedding (especially since we were only having 20-25 people attend), so I wrote my friend a very heartfelt letter about how we would love to have her at our wedding, but we're not comfortable having him there. Probably a shitty thing to lay on her, but it was our wedding & on this we stood firm. Needless to say, I haven't heard from my friend since then. I am sad to have ended our friendship, but have come to terms with her choice (& ours). I know it's not the same situation, but I thought it may help to know others have gone through something similar.
