  2. OMG, Carly, you're a rock star. Thank you so much. I love that everyone is so helpful! Finding this board was a godsend!

  4. oops, sorry, the image would be helpful, huh? My coffee hasn't kicked inyet. I couldn't figure out how to copy & paste it into the message, so I put it in a word doc. I'm not sure who the bride was, or I would contact her. maui map.doc
  5. Ladies- I apologize if this has been discussed, but I didn't find a thread pertaining to this. I am considering making the boarding pass invites & was working off of a template that has a map of maui that I love (this bride also got married at Kapalua Bay), however she put stars on the map by her reception site (which is obviously not my reception site. I'm not that computer saavy, so I don't know if I can alter the picture. The maps I've located by doing a google search aren't that "cute" (like the one that she had on her invite....how wierd does that sound? A "cute" map ) Does anyone know where I can find sme maps of maui that are invitation friendly?? Thanks!
  6. Is there a baseball game or something you can have one of his friends take him to?
  7. welcome home! & CoNgRaTs!!!!
  8. very cute! Too bad I don't want to pack another thing. If I had more room, I'd def. do that!
  9. eh, what am I going to do. It's all fixed now (albeit it's also more expensive). There are bigger issues to worry about. Now, if it were August & this happened....you bet your ass I wouldn't be this calm. ----->
  10. That's what we get for trying to get a discount. When we booked a month ago ATA was about $200/per person cheaper than Hawaiian. That's what we get for trying to save $400. I ended up getting a US Airways flight from PHX for $221/pp & we'll be flying back on Hawaiian (which we would have been anyway had we booked that leg through US Airways....but we're saving about $75 bucks by booking it direct). What a pain. I just spoke with my Dad, who was booked on our same flight & we both said " at least this didn't happen in August"
  11. Now my flights have been cancelled. Dammit! I'm just checking Hawaiian & now our tickets are going to cost us almost double what we were anticipating. Not a good way to start out the day!
  12. If you haven't already ordered from Oriental Trading....I ordered from there & was very disappointed with what I received (I ended up returning them). I wound up going to Staples & buying self adhesive luggage tags (no heat sealing required). They were perfect!
  13. Thanks ladies. The gal who had the appointment before me yesterday just got her dress (it just came in) yesterday & her wedding is Saturday!!! My poor seamstress is going to be working overtime this week! I would be freaking out.
  14. And here are a few from my 2nd fitting yesterday! nice blurred face! love when they snap me talking!
  15. Hi ladies- I thought I'd share my dress & some pictures of my fittings so far. Here's my dress as I first saw it on a hanger (several sizes too small) at the Bridal show: Here are a couple of shots from my first fitting last month:
  16. I'm shocked that nobody has commented on last night's episode. Shayne = pure drama. Ashlee.....seriously, dude, she wore fake eyelashes to play RUGBY!! discuss
  17. you're not alone. My girls rarely fit into normal size L. Such is life, though, because my FI loves "the girls".
