The later you go...the more likely you will get stuck behind a bunch of cars or (worst) tour buses. Trust me...it is no fun sucking up their fumes or when the road is crowded. I didn't mean to confuse. By "caravan" I was refering to everyone driving their own vehicles & us all driving together. I know I wouldn't want to do that drive with some of the folks coming to the wedding!

  3. Thanks ladies. We were worried about having to buy in bulk (100 or more pieces), but it was no problem ordering much less than that. I highly recommend. Koozies Personalized Custom Wedding Favors Koozies
  4. We're not having a bridal party & I really don't think we're missing out by not having one. Our wedding is also going to be really small (20 people max), so we really didn't see the point. It's all about your preference.
  5. I can not be happier with them or the service I received from Kustom Koozies. I placed the order on May 18th, approved the artwork on May 19, they shipped out on June 2nd, & I just received them tonight! I even discovered that they threw in 2 extra ( I ordered 40, but there are 42 in the box!). Here's a picture ladies: We had them made to fit either a waterbottle (I don't have one in my fridge) or a beer bottle (shockingly I DO have several of these).
  6. Let's see: 1. USA 2. Mexico 3. Great Britain 4. The Netherlands 5. France 6. Belgium 7. Italy 8. Monaco 9. Germany 10. The Bahamas
  7. Hey, you don't have all the preggos, I have Nicole Kidman....although I think she's not due for another month & a 1/2. damn, britney needs to do something wacky. SHe can't possibly pick NOW to straighten up. I'm going to hell.
  8. Happy Birthday. Enjoy 31 while it lasts.......
  9. I'm glad to read that nobody has had the scary specimins that were posted on the website (I'm sorry, who fishes that crap out to photograph it??) Has everyone stopped taking it?
  10. Your Birthdate: September 18 You are a cohesive force - able to bring many people together for a common cause. You tend to excel in work situations, but you also facilitate a lot of social gatherings too. Beyond being a good leader, you are good at inspiring others. You also keep your powerful emotions in check - you know when to emote and when to repress. Your strength: Emotional maturity beyond your years Your weakness: Wearing yourself down with too many responsibilities so true Your power color: Crimson red Your power symbol: Snowflake Your power month: September Pretty spot on.....except for the snowflake....very weird
  11. My sister-in-law traced this page from the website & printed her own. I wondered where she found it. I'm thinking of using this idea for my bridal shower.
  12. We got a group rate (which is about $90 plus tax). We figured rather than the site fee, the entertainment, food & alcohol it'd probably come to about that per person anyway, so why not just do the luau. Plus, everyone goes to a luau when they are in Maui. The guests also get a flower lei when entering. It makes sense for us. We're bringing our photographer back to shoot a couple of hours at the reception (we're getting married in the am), so we have to pay for their entrance, too, but they get a local discount. I can get you my contact's name if you're interested. But to answer your question....yes, we're paying. Susan

I worked out instead (pretty proud of myself for that). He's getting picked up from the hotel as I type this. Bye Jesse!

I thought it was only me who was annoyed by her choppers.
  17. I haven't been to the Spago in Maui, so I don't have any insight for you. For our reception, we're taking everyone to Old Lahaina Luau. So, my reception is pretty easy.
  18. See I thought the movie was a perfect follow up to the series. Was it perfect for me? No. But it satisfied me after the 4 year wait. Miranda & Steve - Hated him for cheating & her for pushing him away, but that's such a Miranda characteristic that it didn't bother me. Sometimes that scenario is reality & the series dealt with reality alot (more in dateing scenarios, so why not move into marriage problems as the ladies move into that phase of life). Samantha - I didn't really care for her story line too much, but thought it showed maturity (as funny as that sounds) in her character. And I would have been soooooo upset if they would have shown her getting it on with the neighbor. Smith was too good to her for that to happen & have me be ok with it. Charlotte - loved seeing her as a mom & i liked the fact that once she freaking relaxed about the baby she got pregnant. Very appropriate for her character. Carrie & Big - ok, first, WTF with the bird on her head at the wedding?!?! Anyway, yes, Big was an ass for doing that, but is it really out of his character? No. We knew he would pull something like this. In reality would we want a friend to marry a guy like that? No, but those characters are destined to be together & we all would have been disappointed if they hadn't gotten together in the end. It was nice for Carrie to do such an un-Carrie-like thing & get married at Town Hall. Showed her maturity. I loved the mexico scenes with the girls. Yes, I wish there had been more time with all the gals together, but they are living their own lives....it's reality. I really wasn't bothered by the seperate story lines. Anyway, I LOVED the movie & wouldn't change a thing. P.S. My thoughts on Stanford/Anthony....didn't they kiss on New Year? I didn't read too much into it. I think they became friends rather than lovers....but that's just me.
  19. oh I love Kohl's. Thanks for the tip. If I find out where to get the postcard albums, I'll let everyone know.
  20. we're getting married at Kapalua Bay. I can't believe it's coming up so quickly!
  21. Ok, one of my clients is bringing in Jesse Palmer as their guest speaker tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it's our favorite football playing Bachelor. I'll keep you guys posted if I run into him.
  22. OMG, I'm already addicted.....I need to stop checking on my scores.
  23. We are including postcards in out OOT bags for guests to send to us (rather than a traditional guestbook). Has anyone seen a nice 4" x 6" photo album that I can use for presenting the postcards? Most of the ones I've seen have that backing in between where the front & back picture go....I guess I can just remove that somehow, but wasn't sure if there was something out there designed specifically for postcards. I searched for this topic, but didn't see anything come up. Thanks in advance!
  24. woo hoo! I got Britney Spears. C'mon Britney, shave your head or something! I didn't realize the draft had happened.
