  4. Of course my hair flower has yet to arrive, so we had to do the trial without. I was still very pleased.
  5. ok, found more. Last post for awhile as I am off to meetings. and as my finale for the day:
  6. you've got it. Some of these aren't as funny, but what the hell.... That's all I've got.....for now!
  7. Here are some more of these. This next one is so wrong, but I couldn't stop laughing at it when I saw it. Yes, I'm going to hell. And my absolute favorite: I have a few more, but didn't want to overload the thead.
  8. I was browsing at JoAnn's on Friday & found some baby doll T-shirts on sale for $ .97 each! I bought one of the iron-on rhinestone stud sayings ( I had a 40% coupon, too). So, the entire shirt cost a whole $3.00 & it turned out great (I think). My best friend LOVED it when I gave it to her yesterday! (so you can see the size of the shirt) (so you can see the bling a bit better)
  9. whack job that she appears to be, I still love that she's going to walk down the aisle to the Star Wars Imperial March.
  10. Maura- congrats on your legal day tomorrow (I couldn't wait until tomorrow to do the honor)! Tomorrow is my bridal shower/couples BBQ. I'm so excited & hoping the rain stays away long enough for us to enjoy the day in the pool!

  12. Don't know if anyone else saw this, but Martha Stewart has a really fun template for address labels. Rather than use a sticker machine, I'm going to print on sticker paper, so all I have to do is peel the backing off.....I'm a bit lazy that way. *sorry for the misspell in the title! oops!* Quote: Folded Label How-To Using our template, type return addresses on left side of document and addresses on right; print. Run page through a sticker machine. With a bone folder, crease where indicated; cut out using a utility knife and ruler. Trim short edges with pinking shears. Adhere labels to envelopes, positioning folds so return addresses are on back. How to Use This Editable PDF General Tips 1. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software to open this PDF file. You can download it here. 2. You will not be able to save a version of the file that contains your changes. You can, however, save a copy of the template itself, which will let you open and modify it again so you can do your work in several sessions. 3. Because you cannot save a copy of what you've typed, proofread carefully on screen before printing it out. 4. To change the words, highlight the entire line of text, and then retype. You will notice that the type shifts position on your screen when you do this, but don't worry -- it will print out in the proper position. The Return Address 1. When you change the topmost return address, the software will automatically change all the others on the page. 2. Use all lower case when typing the return address. 3. Spell out the state name. 4. Place a space between each number of the ZIP Code. The Recipient's Address 1. Use an ampersand for the word "and." 2. Press the "Caps Lock" key when you type the street address, and the city and state. 3. Spell out the state name. 4. Type a space between each number of the ZIP Code. address_labels.pdf
  13. I may have some that I'm getting ready to give to our library....let me check on the issue dates
  14. looking great. You're so ahead of the game. I'm just getting my first aid stuff together & my wedding is next month!!!
  15. I didn't like the way ours printed at home on our ink jet, so I took them into work & printed them on the color laser printer & they looked much better.
  16. we're shipping a box to our hotel before we leave (unless it's too heavy, in which case it'll probably cost just as much to pay to check an extra bag).
  17. I guess ours is a co-ed shower. It's tomorrow & it's a luau theme. The girls are coming over in the afternoon & the guys are invited to join at dinner time (truly, we wanted them to cook for us..... ). So I guess from 2 - 5 it's a bridal shower & from 5pm on it's co-ed.
  18. Other than it taking longer, it wasn't any different than donating whole blood, IMO. Thanks for reminding me. I almost forgot that I have an appointment to donate tomorrow.
