  2. i don't know. Is he becoming a hermit....firing all the staff? Very odd. Adam is such a punk, too. I thought he was going to cry when Neil had him removed from the building.
  3. we stayed at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, but did our wedding through a seperate WC. There are several nice places at the hotel to get married, but just know that lots of families stay there (lots of kids running around). Also, that part of Ka'anapali Beach is pretty crowded, so I'd opt for an earlier morning or sunset ceremony if doing so on the beach.

Must upload a pic before you go.

  6. Because I know how much you ladies are picture whores I thought I'd upload some pics for you. The professional ones are still weeks away, so this will have to do in the meantime. Enjoy!! This one cracked us up....we had no idea that the kayakers were invading the wedding until our guests told us!!!! They were very respectful & went around the wedding to land. Thank you unknown kayakers. And later at the luau.....
  7. I'm back & I am officially a lurker in your thread now.

The shots he showed us on his camera that day looked so beautiful. Eric was my photographer & he was fantastic. Jo was my coordinator & she was fantastic as well. In fact, everyone, from the videographer to the florist, to the officiant was great!!! I HIGHLY recommend!!
  10. Aloha ladies! We're back in AZ after a wonderful 2 weeks in Hawaii. Unfortunately, yesterday morning we received the news that our cat passed away during the night. We were expecting it (she had turned 21 in April), but it's still never easy. I've had her since I was 12. So our flight home was hard. We killed not 1, but 2 underwater cameras while out in Hawaii, so uploading pictures may take a little longer than I had hoped. The pro pics won't be available for awhile, but I'll grab a couple of shots from friends & post later this afternoon. The wedding was perfect. Kapalua Bay was gorgeous, perfectly sunny. In fact, it was so perfect that another couple got married about 1/2 hour before us. The amazing thing is that they too had their reception at the Old Lahaina Luau, too! There was lots of laughing, lots of kissing & just a little bit of crying. It was all I could ever ask for. Becks, I can't wait for you to see my bouquet with your starfish.
  11. Ladies (and a few fellas)- I am off in the morning to Maui. I am so thankful that I found this site (albeit, 1/2 way through my planning) & all of you wonderful folks. Everyone has been so helpful & you've really been an inspiration to me. I've entrusted Andi as the stalker of our blog (which we'll be updating for his family while we're away), so she may have some pics for everyone before we return in September. Thank you all & I'll talk to you again when I'm a Mrs!!!!
  12. My fellow Maui brides- I'm off tomorrow morning to Maui. We're so excited. I can't wait to share everything with you ladies. Thank you all for your help over the last few months! I couldn't have done it without you. Aloha!
  13. Ladies, it's my turn to say adios (or aloha in my case). We leave in the morning to fly to Maui. We're so excited & although it seems like it has taken forever, these last few weeks have just been a blur. I've given Andi the link to our blog, so if I post pictures she can snag them & share them with you guys! Thank you to all of you for helping me in so many different ways. Becks, I have your address for a postcard from your starfish! I'll talk to you all when I'm a Mrs!!!!! Aloha!

  17. I booked ours through Lei Greeting.com - Airport Lei Greetings in Honolulu & Maui Hawaii. I'll let you ladies know how they do!
  18. oooh, I didn't see that. Thanks for posting. I'm torn, because I like him, but hate what effect this may have on his son.

Thanks, my friend! I don't think the hotel does one, but even if they do, I kinda wanted to do one anyway as a special touch for my FI & parents. Thanks!
  22. if you are going to greet anyone ( parents, wedding party, etc) with leis when they arrive in Maui, who are you using? Yes, I'm setting this up really late. I can't remember who I used last time i set one up (it was over 10 years ago). Thanks!
  23. judging by the hangover I had the next day, the shots wre large! And that wind-up shot was caught at just the right moment. we couldn't get that caught on camera again if we tried!!
