I'm so sad for you , I know you must be heartbroken and disappointed. But I agree with the other ladies, if what you and FI wanted was a destination wedding well then don't let anyone stop you. (Not even parents who are being pains in the ass, lol). You guys can be perfectly happy having an intimate ceremony between just the two of you and still enjoy the beauty of the DR. While it's nice to celebrate with family and friends, the day is ultimately about you as a couple. I hope whatever you decide, your day brings you plenty of hapiness and joy

As ugly as the win was 2-1 sounds so much better than 3-0. I'm glad the Lakers pulled it out, and happy that at least Kobe and Sasha made the trip to Staples. Now for my rant: Pau looks like a 7-foot girl playing with men at times, and Lamar looks like he's back smoking the pipe. Can another Laker starter other than the one wearing #24 please earn their paycheck? They have yet to play well in this series, and if they keep this crap up, they will be on summer vacation by Sunday night. Great reminder!! Is there a law already in place for not putting on your makeup while you drive? I'm so guilty of that. hehehe. Shame on me I too hate how gas is gouging my bank account right now. It's awful!! My little Honda used to fill up on about $18 of gas, the other day it took $41 and I was unhappy. And to think, gas prices always go up come summertime because of travel, goodness, I'm ready to convert my car into one of the vegetable oil running vehicles.

Oh Ann, she is precious and so beautiful. I too think the best way is by RV, although a long trip it will be the safest route. And maybe you can look at it like a chance to see parts of the country ~ I heard driving across country while long can be a very memorable experience with all the beauty and nature there is to see out there =) I echo everyone else, if there's any way I can help ~ I'm on board!!

Very cute Yari, she looks adorable!! How old is she by the way? My daughter is one of my junior bridesmaids, but she is in that stage where she wants to wear the same dress as the bridesmaids. She doesn't want anything special or different despite what Mommie and grandma say, she wants to be "the same". I should say she will be 13 when the wedding happens so I guess that it's just a teenage angst thing Ahhhh I think this is the stage when I start to pull my hair out as a mom.

And if Lamar wakes up and learns how to convert bunnies, Gasol stops bein so soft (a biatch) when he goes to the rack, and Kobe stops trying to jump shoot his way back into a groove, then we're alright. I am SOOOO glad to hear everything turned out well. Your fiance seems like a good man, but of course next to every good man there is an equally amazing woman =) And as a mother of a bright little 12-year-old myself, I know you must be beaming with pride that your daughter was able to carry and express herself so well in such a stressful situation. As for your ex-sister, hate to say it but she seems like a vengeful Biatch whose actions are so unwarranted and childish. Seems like she could learn a thing or two from your daughter about the proper way to carry onself. Just remember, Karma has away of balancing things out. Celina, I am so so sorry this is happening to you. I can't even fathom what it feels like to have your own flesh and blood do something so hurtful. I know how awful it feels about the possibility of your child's well-being to be in the hands of a complete stranger..... My daughter's father tried to ask for custody about 5 years ago solely because he didn't want to pay child support and I remember it was the most horrible and stressful time in my life. Luckily things worked out because his intentions were insincere, and I think that along with faith is what you have to keep in your heart. You have truth on your side and that is something that will prevail. Stay strong, and remember to stay level-headed and calm but stick to your guns when you have to appear before the DSS or if it goes before a judge. I worked in the legal field for about 12 years, and if there's one thing I've come to learn is that first impressions and the way one carries themselves means everything. Be prepared with all your info and any documentation you might need. And just remember you have truth on your side, you are a good Mom and keep faith that everything will work out in the end.
