  1. THANK GOODNESS, I am not the only one slacking off I think we should all just enjoy the holidays and then go full throttle come January ~ and yes I feel ya when you say you're dealing with the indecisive family/friend problem. I think we can't realistically expect much until about 4 or 5 months till.*sigh* which sucks cuz there's so much planning involved they just don't realize. WOW, while I'm still really nervous that I'm letting things slide, come January we will all be just 6 months from our special days!!!! Super exciting ladies ~
  2. YAY!!! I was so depressed when they discontinued a dress I had been eyeing for months, but I've found 4 dresses that I ADORE in the 2009 Maggie lines Thanks for the heads up
  3. <<Calling all BDW June 09 brides>> I just looked at my countdown and my day is close to being 200 days out!!! And even though the time is a tickin, I've gotten into slump lately and been ignoring all the DIY projects I've got planned Am I the only one starting to feel the pressure, but still not getting off my ass to fix it?
  4. Although I know you're in the process of just trying to make contact with some venues and coordinators, I think getting a WC will all depend on whether you have your wedding at a resort (which usually comes with some sort of wedding planner/staff) or at a non-resort venue (which I think usually requires hiring an outside WC). Based on my own experience and some comments from other BDW brides, it seems like the WC's in the Riviera Maya/Cancun area aren't always quick to respond and take some time much to an anxious bride's dismay. Also keep in mind that the area is just beginning to enter its "high season" with the holidays approaching, so perhaps that's another reason for the delays. Trust me, I totally understand your anxiety being a News Reporter/Producer myself. I'm used to having control of the situation and always being on top of things. *sigh* I think every bride gives up at least a little bit of that control when you opt for a destination wedding, but in the end, like all other BDW weddings, it all seems to fall beautifully into place!

So it actually works out pretty well
