hahahah you gals crack me up!!! Morgan I LOVE that pic, you guys are too much And you're right, I think there's definitely been some chiseling done to her nose, and clearly she had an earlift. And yeah where'd the cleavage go? Miss Piggy is putting me to shame, I need to hit the gym pronto!!! -
*sigh* her damn name is Miss Piggy, she's supposed to be pleasantly plump!! That's why all women can love her because she embraces her curves, loves who she is, and still has Kermit lovin all over her. But now she's losing weight? Here's the article that addresses our dear Miss Piggy's apparent weight loss: POLL: Has Miss Piggy Lost Weight? - Miss Piggy : People.com

What do you guys think of the 8 babies/14 kids chick???

Goodness I knew her whole vibe reminded me of someone, and that is ssssoooo it ~ minus the million dollar career and hot baby daddy! Thank God I'm not the only who has gotten pissed off by this woman and her antics. I thought I was being mean grtting my teeth everyone morning and rolling my eyes at work about her story, but apparently she's struck a nerve with a lotta people! You ladies are right though, the saddest part of this story are these poor kids who will have to likely deal with some issues growing up and some serious instability when it comes to their mother. -
Father Passed Away...Dance Partners/Song Ideas?
MarieSam replied to K'osh's topic in Wedding Music & Entertainment
First, so sorry for your loss. And I think it's great that you are having a best friend walk you down the aisle, I'm sure he is so honored to do so. Honestly, I'm not really sure whether there is any appropriate ettiquette in a situation like yours, I think it really all depends on who YOU want to share that dance with and who you feel most comfortable with. If you have a special song that you shared with your dad, then that's perfect. I know another beautiful song is "Dance with My Father" by Luther Vandross. The song makes me cry whenever I hear it, and it's a lovely way to honor and give tribute to your dad's memory -
Oooh I need to try this, all of mine are horribly dirty but I love em so much I keep wearin em inspite of the dirt

Dollar Dance? Heard of it?
MarieSam replied to JoLo908's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
The dollar dance commonly done at Filipino weddings ~ my family does it in the form of a fun competition as to whether the bride or groom can get the most $$$$. It's also one of the few times during the weding when you will get to have one-on-one conversations with your guests. I remember being at past family weddings and seeing the couples really enjoy the fun behind it, but oh yes they also cleaned up, I mean SERIOUS cash! I can certainly see why those who do not celebrate the money dance culturally would see this as tacky. Although FI is not Filipino, we will probably do the dollar dance at the urging of my side of the family. I certainly am not expecting to walk outta there with boatloads of cash, but more so will have fun doing it outta tradition and culture. -
What do you guys think of the 8 babies/14 kids chick???
MarieSam posted a topic in Chit Chat Corner!
Ok so I don't think I ever saw this topic brought up here, but if so, my apologies Mods and please merge me. So since this lady popped out an instant Brady Bunch a couple weeks ago, I've had to write a story about her every morning at work. Initially I thought it was a wonderful miracle, I mean honestly having 8 kids at once is unimaginable and I can't even think of what her body was going through. But the more her story comes to light..............no husband, no job, 6 other kids, living at home, receiving government assistance, childhood obssession with having children, now setting up a website asking for public donations, etc., etc. .......it's all starting to irk me. What do you gals think about this whole story? -
Ooooh more replies..... I like that rationale, and yes I will definitely do at least 1000 "I'm worth it!!" pics Quote: Originally Posted by BillysBride Oh, and did I tell you to LIE your behind off? You got a good lookin' man and some good lookin' shoes...be happy and lie throug your teeth. That's all I'm sayin. lmao Again girl, too funny, hhehehehe!! I ran them by his sister and she said they're gorgeous but agreed that I should keep my mouth shut and let Tommy discover it on his own to avoid Quote: Originally Posted by binzer When my fiance and I were in San Francisco he managed to convince me to buy $400 shoes (I was like WHAT Are you CRAZY) and I haven't regretted it a bit. I don't know if its possible, but you should check to see if you can dye them black after the wedding (they would make absolutely fabulous "little black dress" shoes) and then you could have a memento from your wedding that you'd still get to wear! YAY ok good, well at least I'm not the only one who fell prone to the $400+ shoe investment. And yes they're dyeable, and yep I was definitely thinking that black would get the most use!

Aww ladies I swear I LOVE each and every one of you!!! After much contemplation and reading your responses, I feel much better about my shoe splurge. And of course, I promise to take pics of my new kicks once I get them! Yanno I was even thinking of maybe using them for my BD shoot to get more use outta them ~ what do you ladies think?? For those who asked they are Cole Haan shoes and yes ladies they are dyeable!! So after the wedding I am seriously considering dying them another color but GOOD LORD what if I screwed em up?!?! Anyhoo, I bought them from Nordstroms.com and because they have a kick ass return policy I can always return them if I don't like em in person or have buyer's remorse hehehe AKA Tommy kills me, strangles me, leaves me, Chris Brown's me (oooh so not funny, I'm sorry Rihanna, but it was just too tempting to go there). So here's the direct link: Cole Haan 'Ceci Air Rose' Dyeable Slingback - - Nordstrom Now on to your responses....... Quote: Originally Posted by kiki317 They are fabulaous!! And it took a lot of courage to Just Do It. My cheap ass would have just hot glued some mini roses from Joannes on some sling backs and called it a day. OOooooh Savannah your post had me dying....you remind me so much of one of my best friends, she always has me crackin up!! :lmao: And girl, don't think I won't sport these shoes with EVERYTHING!!! Nightgown, check. Velour sweatsuit, check. Pajamas, check. Jeans and tank top, check. Walking around in my underwear, check. I swear these will become my new black. And believe me you, if I see a shoe that's comparable, i.e. helluva cheaper, I swear I will head over to Walmart and buy those mini roses and do "an experiment" hehehehe. But yes, with cute jeans and sundresses it is after that!!! Quote: Originally Posted by Abbie wait, they are nike? they are absolutely to die for, love 'em. Think I can bill it as a work expense? lol

Just booked our honeymoon hotels in London and Amsterdam!!!
MarieSam replied to GracieBebe's topic in Honeymoon Talk
I honestly don't think the units they put you in are any different than if you were to have booked directly through the hotel itself. Anyhow, those deals sound amazing and the hotels are so ideally located! I'm sure you guys will have a super fabulous time ~ I absolutely LOVE London and Paris, haven't been to Amsterdam yet, but I'm sure it's equally wonderful!!! Congrats ~ and of course, make sure you take lots of pics to share!!! -

MarieSam replied to MarieSam's topic in BDW Get Togethers
How the hell did I need see this till today? Nevertheless, YAY so happy to see some of you are interested in getting together Sounds like Brea was a proposed meeting place? Sounds good to me. So any places in particular and when's good for everyone? I'm personally inclined to either Saturday afternoons/evenings or Sunday anytime. I work like dog during the week so I'm only free on weekends.... -
Yep, FI is officially gonna kill me when he finds out how much the shoes.....I want, I love, I need, I bought, are! I couldn't help it, I was searching through so many websites, and while I saw a lot of cute ones, these just spoke to me..."BUY ME, I LOVE YOU, I WILL LOOK SO FREAKING FABULOUS ON YOUR FEET!!" So after they sat in my "shopping bag" for a couple hours to fester, I closed my eyes, hit click and ordered them. *God it felt good* They even have some kind of Nike magic to keep your feet comfy. Please, please, please tell me they were worth eventually getting killed for!!

Oh my where do I begin?? Well I think I'm gonna have a lifelong addiction to white cheddar cheez-its and tostitos tortilla chips "hint of lime" flavor -- good God I'm a freaking carb addict Other than that I will always have a love affair with anything cake or cupcakes ~ with frosting so sweet it makes your teeth hurt!! So I guess it all comes down to the fact that I'm addicted to junk that goes straight to my ass, gut and thighs.....terrible I know *sigh*
