Crap, what a b*tch. Ok so yes, definitely send an email and also call the manager -- I would even send him copies of your correspondence highlighting what she previously said was ok. Let them know the monetary consequences and that they will be responsible for any fees toward your photographer that are non-refundable. Be stern and strong about this. If the day pass fee is what they're concerned about -- tell em you'll forward payment early to ensure this is not a problem. Be clear to them that you were given the green light, prompting you to book an outside photographer. Sorry hon -- keep us posted. I'm hoping this all works out for you!

We sent STD's to everyone, including our ginormous wedding party -- we even sent them to our parents who wanted to keep them as momentos. But we also made our own STD's so churning out some extra ones was not a big task or costly for us. If you don't wanna spend the extra $$$, which is a significant difference, how about sending "cheaper" more simple versions? Or, if you find it appropriate, how about an STD email or e-card?

Many Congrats!!! My best friend is currently in nursing school and I see how hard she studies and stresses ~ that is a great accomplishment, you should be very proud. Healthcare is also one of the few industries that stays strong even when the economy is in the tank because there are always sick people no matter what, so you are in a great field!!!

Yanno I saw a recent posting on some photographer forum and it said our photog Stephanie now does BD photography although I have yet to ask her about it because I know last year she wasn't doing it! But based off her recent fashion photos I can imagine she'd be great at it. Also her colleague Kristi Klemens of KLK photography does BD, and her pics are fabulous!! The others I have found are Enpointephotography.com -- shes outta San Diego I think and her packages were great! I am actually doing two BD sessions -- one with a friend, and another with Beth Cocuzzi outta Orange County -- here's my post on her information. I am obssessed with how good she makes her subjects look with hair and makeup! Should definitely start a thread -- there are some great photogs who offer discounted rates for larger groups.

ugh im sorry lisa -- keep us posted, we'll see what she says once she's confronted with the money aspect. have you tried calling her? a direct phone conversation (with your angered voice, lol) might work best if she's giving you a lack of receptiveness in her emails. keeping my finger crossed for you -- definitely a pain in the ass when people try to go back on their word, certainly wedding stress you don't need!!!
