So I'll be brief to sum things up: Heather -- high 5 girl! You did the right thing, it sucks you lost the deposit, but a worryfree experience is probably more than worth it Morgan -- you're the freaking bomb! So amazingly kind and like all the girls say, lots of good karma is headed your way. * It's threads like this that probably provide the greatest source of help to other brides ~ honest criticism and reviews are like gold in the planning process because it's already hard enough hosting a wedding thousands of miles away, having no idea what to expect. That's why I LOVE BDW!!!!

I am going for a solo guitarist ~ I've always envisioned being able to walk down the aisle to the beautiful sound of live spanish guitar and a cool breeze. Because of the dry desert like climate in Cabo, I don't believe there's much of a mosquito problem there anytime of the year. I've been there throughout the summer months on five different occasions and never had a problem ~ and believe me, apparently I'm quite tasty when it comes to mosquitos because I never go anywhere without being feasted on, lol Now Cancun/RM area....that's a whole other problem!!!

The florist I'm working with does beautiful arrangements -- her name is Roberta of Plumeria Wedding Flower Boutique and she's actually got prepared arrangments on her "weddings to go" page that can be shipped out within days. They're quite beautiful and very reasonably priced! I know she also does hair flowers. Hi there, this topic has already been discussed extensively as of late -- if you do a search for travel alerts you will find several threads. Here's the main link to all of them: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t38173 In a gist, the travel alerts are geared toward border cities -- but like all out-of-country trips just take caution and stay away from areas late at night where there is a large presence of drugs and prostition. Taking any tour bus in the Cancun/RM area should be fine!

The way the hotel staff and WC acted toward you and your guests is appalling and totally unprofessional ~ what a bunch of #$@! jackasses! Nevertheless, I'm glad you were able to enjoy your time there for the most part, and it must also help ease the bitter taste in your mouth to see that your teaser pics are freakin gorgeous!!!
