Hi ladies just wanted to let you know my session with Beth was FABULOUS and so much fun!!!! She did my makeup and her hairstylist Tara did my hair -- both did a kick ass job, if I must say so myself. I have had my makeup professionally done about 20 times and probably only liked how it turned out a handful of times. I am so picky, but these girls totally know what they're doing ~ I felt beautiful I even wore my makeup to my overnight job, oh how I wish I went out for a night on the town instead so my fabulous look didn't go to waste!!! Beth took the pics - three different outfits they helped me pick -- and posed me the whole time, giving me tips and taking TONS of pics. She is the cutest, sweetest thing and so much fun. I was there for about 4 hours -- she is so patient and they don't rush. She totally loves what she does and only wants you to have a great experience and walk away with wonderful pictures. She showed me a glimpse of the shots, they looked great* When I get them from her, I'll post a full review with samples. I think her prices are actually cheap considering everything she provides you with. I would recommend her without hesitation ~ any girl who shoots with Beth will not be disappointed! And DEFINITELY get the works done -- they are so so good at styling and makeup. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed the pics turned out well If they do, I can guarantee I'll be doing BD pics with Beth again in the future ~ it's so much fun!! If you buy a new latop...BUY A MACBOOK!!!! I just bought one 2 weeks ago and I am IN LOVE I will NEVER go back to a PC again ~ I can't believe I waited this long. No overheating fan problems, the thing makes no noise at all, its fast, and no virus threats!!! LOVE IT

I drank water all day today ladies -- but honestly probably not enough. I don't think drinks are the problem with me, I usually just drink water with an occasional cranberry juice on the side, but just not enough water. I HEART Vista Print! I used them to make my reply cards that went with our STD boarding passes http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t30531, and now we're gonna use VP for our RSVP card which will go out with our passport invites. We had our guests send the reply cards back to us by mail, but for these we're just asking em to RSVP on our website -- much more cost efficient plus the wedding is just around the corner!! Vista print is the best because they ALWAYS have ongoing specials, free deals, etc. We tried to make these RSVP postcards with the passport/travel theme in mind. *Oh and the beautiful logo atop the back of the postcard was made by the uber talented Rebecca of Allurements by Rebecca I now have three logos for different phases of the wedding, lol. Thought I'd give everyone a heads up that Old Navy's great flip flops for $1 sale is this Saturday, May 23rd -- it's an in-store only special. Don't know the specifics on how many you are limited to, so defintely inquire ahead of time....or bring a lot of people with you....or beg and plead that it's for your fabulous DW wedding I know the flip flop basket is a popular thing at receptions, so hopefully this will save many of you some $$$$ *Happy Shopping*

uuuuggggghhhhhh i feel fat this week ok well fatter than usual....

In my opinion, it's TOTALLY NORMAL!!! So don't worry girl, don't stress I started really planning things about 18 months ago, I went back and forth about so many things. Prime example -- and I'm still flip flopping on this one -- I am a 5 dress brides, yes I said 5 dresses!!!! And when I say 5, I personally have 4, although the one I'm likely to go with has yet to arrive. Luckily 2 are refundable and well the other 2 were not expensive so I can always re-sell. As for photographer -- I went back and forth so many times on that one, even after we booked someone I still kept looking and asking for quotes from others. Why? I don't know, probably to torture myself. But now I am so so happy that we decided to go with our first choice, and feel blessed we've booked her. I think it's true, there are so many choices out there for EVERYTHING!! And it doesn't help when so many gals on here share their wonderful finds, ideas, vendors -- you can't help but to think, "should I have done what they did?" It's totally normal, and for the most part, it's very helpful because then you have so many more options to choose from. But I think in the end, you will find more often than not, you will essentially end up with your first choice. At least that was what it was like for me. So while this may be stressing you out now, enjoy it. We only become brides once, the planning can be both stressful and fun ~ the good thing is that you have lots of time before your wedding so you can always change things along the way.
