The resort is really big and I don't think the brides will really run into each other. They'e been plenty of reviews on ROR and no one has ever complained about it. I say focus on making your day special and relax. I'll be there from the 1 to the 10th. I have a lot to do as well. I need to send over my notarized documents, did you guys do that yet? And I just started working on my OOT boxes. Beth, are you having a welcome dinner? When is it? I think I want to have mine on Friday, 7pm at St. Ann's. I have to confirm with Chandlyn. I have a wedding planner who is arranging all the documentation for us, so I don't have to do a thing. I will take the copies with me just in case, but thats it...

Either way the ceremony will be over so quickly that you'll have plenty of time left over & I don't think getting sunny shots will be a problem at all. You could probably even catch some good sunset shots later on! Thats great! Were getting married at the beach gazebo. Love to take some sunset ics too! Thanks for the info!

You'll probably see the other brides & their parties in passing, but that will be it! So don't worry about it at all! Just enjoy your day as it will still be special. Hi Justustwo, Thanks for making me feel sooo much better! You rock! I was wondering, I also have the 4 pm wedding, How was the sun at this moment. Do you recommend taking pictures before the ceremony, or after. I dont want to miss the beautiful sunny pictures. How did you do this? Thanks

Hope all your plans are coming together now, what time is your ceremony?? Sarah xx Hi Sarah, Well I gues It wont be that bad, right? Three is not that much, comparing to 8 weddings... Of course we have to check out the Red Light District (just for curiosity's sake)! Any suggestion of things to see while we are there? We will be there around mid-September which I have heard is an ideal time to go, weather-wise. You should definately visit the Anne Frank House. You get a good taste of how it hase been during the war, I visited twice, and still want to go again. The red light district is also a must go! Its a huge tourist atraction. Dont expect to see, little dirty man :-) ..alot of tourist come to see the " Girls" And it is a very nice place to visit! You will see al kinds of people walking around, also families with kids. Its very teastfull. About the weather, your never sure if it is ok, but august september are the months we see the sun the most.. but we dont see it alot.. :-D Some tips you should go when you visit Holland, If you like party's, Holland has the largest dance events in Europe, so if you visit you really should vist one! in August we have " Mystery land (29-0" , this is huge outdoor event, and very popular! Its great! Hope you will enjoy your stay!

  8. I knew that a wedding at the Riu was very popular... So no my day is coming closer I asked how many other weddings would be on our day..I didn't think there would be ..since it is on a weekly day.. but know they told me that there would be two more weddings.. I can't lie..I don't like it... Now it really feels like, it isnt going to special at all... I feel like I want to cry real hard....
  9. Hey Grace, Im sure you will get great rooms! Nice to hear your visiting Amsterdam. I'm From the Netherlands myself. Any special places you want to visit while staying? You will have a wonderfull time!
  10. Im desperately trying to show u guys everything I made for my wedding, but I just cant seem to get this shit in a threat...gshhhh..I made everything in a word document.. Can somebody please help me...
  11. I did not use the dryer, and I did a special short wool washing program, although I didnt use woolite.. I used normal detergent.. maybe that was my problem..hmmm let me know when your uggs are dry, if they are still soft.. It would safe me lots of money, not buying new ones everytime mine got dirty..
  12. Ladies..do NOT..I repead, do NOT throw your beloved uggs in the washing machine. Believe me, its the death penalty for your shoes.. And I know, because when mine were totaly dirty, and wanted to clean mine, my dear hubby told me to just put them on a short program in the washmachine,,and I did... I wanted to cry after my uggs came out, the werent soft anymore but rock hard, and the color had faded. And the werent even clean... I recommend to buy the special cleaning stuff the uggs store provides, and keep them as clean as possible..and when they get dirty,,well,, its time to buy new ones...
  13. Spinning for 1 hour tonight.. Gotta love it...
  14. Well I finally finished my oot bags, ( thank god) In my bags are: - Personelized travel books printed bij Vistaprint - Selfmade tickets - Luggage tags ( I also made myself) - Some candy and gum - Games(Puzzle books, cards, yahtzee etc.) - pens - Air bags for hanging in the closed at the hotel - Pashmina's - Traveling pilows - Holiday cards ( selfmade and printed by Vistaprint) - Labello ( for the lips) The bag itself is a inflatable beachbag, No air and you have a bag. With air its a pillow :-) For the ladies I ordere white ones, and for the Gentlemens I ordered blue ones. Ok here it comes. We invited a select group of people to join our wedding. Since we are paying the whole trip for everybode, we thought it would be fun to keep the location a suprise. So Nobody knows where they are goin in 2 months, only that it is sunny, and they have to pack for a week!! I was thinking to give the bags at the airport. Because when we give the bags, they get to see where they are going since I put travel books in the bags, with the destination. We really want to keep the surprise untill the last moment. But Do you think they want to carry the bag with them for the whole trip? I thought about giving them the evening before we leave, but I dont know how to get the whole group together that night. Everybodys is packing and getting ready for the trip... hmmm what to do.... Fact is, that I also have to carry all thes bags with me to the airport. Emagin this: Bridezilla arriving all stressed, at the airport, with AHUM.. 3 suitcases, 2 travel trollys, a large handbag, and then the ootbags.. Gosh...I dont think I can do this... Guys You GOT to help me...

  20. YAY!!! Finally, I wish you an Awsome time!!! Enjoy!!
  21. I booked the jacuzzi suite for three weeks, all our guest stay for the firts week, after the wedding everybody leaves, and we will stay and celev=brate our honeymoon. So we wanted to have the best room possible, because I think we will be up in our room for quit some time :-)
  22. I'm From The Netherlands, and here it is a big NO for the groom to see the dress of his bride before the ceremony, But the other way around too. Here the guys put alot of effort in finding the perfect outfit. And want it to be a suprise for his bride. The feeling we have to show our dress, is for the guys outfit exact the same. Brides often seem to forget that the wedding is also for the groom a big thing. They want to be a part of it, and that includes deciding on stuff. If we would give them some slack, you will see it is gonna be great, and it would be so boring if everything is organized and scheduled perfectly, so no suprises can be done...
  23. Welcome back! Looking forward to read your review!
