  1. I think I'm actually going to be in pretty good shape. I believe I've found a photographer that offers just what we need and is available that day.
  2. How many of you just used your engagement ring and ditched the wedding band idea?

Every time I've been there has been a small current, so occasionally pop your head up to see where you are. I've only been during the summer, but its also a very popular surf spot during the winter as it catches the north swells. Check this link out for more info. That's incredible!!! How far down does a snorkeler have to go so they can swim through these channels? Sounds like you have quite a bit of experience with Kauai. What other "must see's" or "must do's" should I know about while I'm there?

I would totally make a day (or two) out of Ke'e. We like to snorkel in the morning then hike the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali cliffs that is right there (we only hike two miles to Hanakapi'ai beach, but you can do the whole 11 miles too). Wow, they actually have coral tunnels you can swim through? I guess it makes sense with the name and all, I just had no idea! LOL How far under are these tunnels found? The hiking sounds like a great idea too but I think the party we're traveling with already had that on the agenda. =)

  9. Elizabeth and sol have both referred me to some other vendors but so far, no luck. I'm currently in contact with Claudia Rodriguez but that could go either way. Our wedding will be just between the two of us, so we're not looking for a big grand package. Our wedding down there is the 2nd of 3 weddings with the first one being the legal up here, the 2nd down there just between us (just like eloping) and the 3rd for family and friends later this year.
  10. I'm in a bind for finding a photographer for my May 22nd wedding down in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. I was first referred to del Sol Photography & Elizabeth Medina Photography, but unfortunately they're both unavailable during that time. I know I'm cutting it pretty close and it's last minute but I'm hoping I find someone that does awesome work and is available during that time. My fiance and I aren't looking for a huge packet for the event since it's just the two of us, but of course we'd like to have some great photos to commemorate our wedding. Can anyone help?
  11. These are great resources. Does anyone know of anymore?
  12. What about Ke'e Beach, how is that?

They made me go back to the room to get my ID so make sure you bring yours with! Do you know if they asked for your ID because there's a bar in the pool?

Wow, that's a killer deal! beachbride08, How was the beach on the resort?
  15. Does anybody have anymore photos of this resort?

  17. I got the following guidebook, so I should be in pretty good shape as far as where to go, unless there's some pretty rare hidden gems. The reviews on it look really good though. Barnes*&*Noble.com - Books: Ultimate Kauai Guidebook, by Andrew Doughty, Paperback, Revised

So I am trying to get the full wedding package info from someone to look over prices and options etc. before making a BIG decision to change. Sounds good! I know I'm happy with my selection of having my wedding at Excellence Riviera Cancun!

  20. BrittneyD, Was it hard being half way naked and undressing in front of the photographer?
