I feel your pain.. I went through this a few months ago and ended up buying the second dress! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t32852 I'd try on the 1st dress again and see if you really do like it (and were just temporarily swayed by the 2nd dress) and if you can't imagine yourself getting married in the first dress.... go for the 2nd! It has been a pain in the butt selling my first dress though...

I got my band yesterday. It's platinum with channel-set princess-cut diamonds and cost about $1200. But Jared's has a trade-in program so I'm giving them back an old diamond ring (a gift from about 10 yrs ago) and they credit me the original sale price. So in reality, my wedding band will only cost me about $600!

I like #5 and #6 the best.

Yesterday I went to get my engagement ring cleaned and look at wedding bands with FI. I had picked mine out months ago but he is really lazy about finding one for himself. I had been holding off on buying it until we were closer to the wedding but now we're almost 3 months out and it's time to get on the ball! My e-ring is a platinum band with solitaire diamond and I selected a platinum wedding band with channel-set diamonds. I was going to do this for the wedding but now I may try to make mine in time for his birthday. No chance of it falling into the wrong hands or getting misplaced with all the wedding chaos.

I found a really cute bustier at TJ Maxx (for like $15!), and I also got some cute stuff at Frederick's on clearance, and used FI's soccer jersey with boyshorts and heels. I am pear-shaped too but I haven't seen my pics yet to tell you which look worked best.

I bought my first dress at David's Bridal. I went to two different DB locations. The first was terrible- crowded, bad service, etc. and the second was great! I think it just depends on which one you go to. Definitely try to go during the week if you can- much less crowded.
